Samsung has officially announced the three components of the new Galaxy J range for 2017. Of all, the Samsung Galaxy J2017 is the largest, most powerful and complete . Design and display
The larger the Galaxy J increases the resolution of its Super AMOLED screen . of the HD it passes the full HD with 1080 x 1920 pixels . This jump puts the J5 2017 at a high level of the mid-range, close to the Galaxy A7 presented at the beginning of the year.

performance
To ensure power, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 features a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chip . It's exactly the same hardware as the 2017 J5, so on a first impression it might be a bit disappointing. Luckily, the RAM is higher, with 3 GB. This detail should give the terminal the energy boost that sets it apart. For its part, the storage is 16 GB, expandable by microSD card to 256 GB.
The operating system is Android 7 Nougat , which will allow us to access news such as grouped notifications or the split screen system. A basic requirement that Samsung has not hesitated to meet. We will also be able to access the new Galaxy Apps store, adapted for the latest version of Google's operating system.
Camera
Like the new Galaxy A, the new Galaxy J enjoy parity in front and rear camera resolutions. Thus, the J7 Galaxy 2017 offers a s ensor 13 megapixel rear and another forward another 13 megapixels . In the case of the rear sensor, we have an aperture of f / 1.7 with flash. For the front camera, an aperture of f / 1.9 is offered, also with flash.

The battery of the Galaxy J7 2017 is 3,600 mAh , an increase in power compared to the 3,300 of the Galaxy J7 2016. Due to the increase in screen resolution, it is a good decision that Samsung has made. Thus, the autonomy will remain at least equivalent to that of the previous model. Of course, it would have been appreciated if they also offered fast charging. Today, this is a differentiator within the mid-range.

Considering the level up with the camera, battery, RAM, and screen resolution , the price increase makes sense. However, the competition in the mid-range is fierce, so we will have to wait to see if users forget that higher price and continue to bet on the Galaxy J range.
