The Galaxy A series continues to grow, Samsung has just introduced a new mid-range model, the Galaxy A20. It is a device with a double camera, a screen with a notch and a good autonomy. All this with a very interesting price. We review the main features and the best of this device that is already arriving in Europe. In addition, we know its price in euros.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 has a design very similar to its brothers, the Galaxy A30 and A50. The back appears to be glass, with a matte finish and rounded corners. You can see the double camera in the upper area, as well as a fingerprint reader in the center. We also see the Samsung logo. In the front area the frames give way to a panoramic screen. The upper part is occupied by a notch where the front camera and a speaker are housed in the upper frame. The lower one, a frame a little thicker than usual. There is no navigation button on the chassis, it is directly on the screen.
Samsung calls this type of panel Infinity-V since the notch is shaped like V . With this notch we get an 'all screen' feeling. Furthermore, the content is optimized, even third-party applications. Of course, there are people who do not like to see the notch on the screen, the company adds options in the software to hide it.

4,000 mAh battery and dual main camera
The Samsung Galaxy A20 has a 6.4-inch panel with HD + resolution (720 x 1560 pixels). It is a Super AMOLED panel, so the blacks are more pure, since they are dull pixels. This type of panel helps us save autonomy. Especially if it is combined with a darker interface. Inside we find an Exynos 7884 processor, an eight-core chip accompanied by a single version of 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The memory is expandable by micro SD up to 500 GB. Its autonomy will be 4,000 mAh, more than enough to withstand the day to day. Above all, taking into account that it includes an AMOLED panel, very low consumption, with an HD + resolution.
What about the cameras? Samsung continues in the dual camera line with a 13 megapixel f / 1.9 and 5 megapixel f / 2.2 sensor. This configuration will allow us to take the popular photos with blur effect. The front stays at 8 megapixels with an f / 2.0 aperture.
We do not know the Android version of this device. It is likely to hit the market with Android 8.0 Oreo under the Samsung Experience. The company has added the possibility of mobile payments through its platform, Samsung Pay. However, it does not have Bixby, the virtual assistant that is present in many of the company's terminals. We will have to wait to see if it is finally added when the device receives Android 9.0 Pie.
Price and availability
The Galaxy A20 has been officially unveiled in Russia. We do not know if it will arrive in Spain, but we do know its possible price. The terminal, which will arrive with a version of 3 GB and 32 GB of RAM, would cost about 190 euros to change, (13,900 Russian rubles).
