One of the main elements of the Windows 10 interface is the taskbar. However, we may not always like their initial look. Many devices use the Microsoft operating system, so we may need to adapt this important element to our use. Change your location
One of the simplest options that the Windows 10 taskbar allows is to change its location. Doing so is extremely simple and, depending on how we use the device, it can be very useful. The taskbar can be oriented up, down, right or left simply by clicking the left mouse button and dragging it .
However, some users have complained that this method does not work for them . If this is your case, there is another way to do it. All you have to do is right-click on the taskbar and select Settings.
In the configuration screen of the taskbar we have an option that says “Location of the taskbar on screen” . By default we have it configured Below, but from here we can place it where we want.
Change its size

Auto hide
Another very interesting option, especially if we have a small screen, is to hide the taskbar automatically . This will allow us to clear the workspace and expand the size of the screen a bit.
To activate this function we have to right-click on the bar and enter Settings again. The second option we have is "Automatically hide the taskbar . " We just have to activate it.
Smaller icons
Also, to maximize space, we can also resize the icons to make them smaller . In the same place we will have to activate "Use small taskbar buttons".
Customize what the taskbar displays
Once we have it located where we want and with the size we want, we can also customize what options the taskbar includes .
To do this, we just have to right-click on it. Here we will see several options. We can change the search box for a Cortana icon, to deactivate some of the links that we have on the right side of the bar.
Change the color
Finally, Windows 10 allows us to change the color of the taskbar . It generally adapts to the theme we have chosen, but it is possible to modify it to our liking.
For this we have to click with the right button of the mouse on any free area of the desktop. In the options that appear we will go to Customize.
Once here, we will click on the Colors option on the left menu. When selecting a color, by default, it is applied to the icons that we see when we display the start menu. If we also want to apply it to the taskbar, we must activate the option "Show the color in Start, the taskbar and the activity center" .
Add shortcuts
