How to understand what appears on the invoice
Ok, now you have the invoice. Do you know what each of its sections mean? If no matter how much you look at it, you don't understand anything at all, you may need a little help.
- In the upper left part of the invoice you will see the Amazon logo.
- In the upper right, just below the “INVOICE” label, you will see Amazon's fiscal address . If you have made the purchase in Spain, you will see that the data for the Pozuelo de Alarcón center in Madrid appear. You will see that the code of the center in question also appears.
- Just to the right, next to the Amazon data, your customer data will appear . Here you must include the tax data, the address and the name, whether of a natural person or a company.
The data that you will see below , located in a new line, will be the following:
- Order number : this will be used to make any request or claim to Amazon.
- Order date : the exact day you made the purchase.
- Invoice number : this is a specific code for the invoice.
- Invoice / provision date : it may be the same as the day you made the purchase, especially if the shipment was completed in one day. If not, you will see the date the purchase was prepared.
Next, the data of the products you have purchased will be indicated. This includes the quantity, the product / service with the corresponding code, the tax base (which is the price of the product before taxes), the VAT rate and the amount and the total amount. This is just what you will have to pay.
