The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 is a traditional computer oriented to the professional market. HP equipment is available in tower, microtower or a very compact and slim design , a very useful configuration to save space in offices and small offices. This equipment incorporates the latest Intel Haswell processors (the fourth generation of Intel Core), various storage configurations and the TPM 1.2 chip to add an additional layer of security to our files against incursions and attacks. The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 in tower and microtower format will be available in Spain from July at a price that starts at800 euros. We tell you all the details.

HP has decided to renew its offering of professional desktops for the summer, taking advantage of the launch of the new Intel Haswell chips . Including a processor Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 (with the possibility of integrating technology vPro for advanced performance) is one of the most important attractions that presents the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 . These chips allow a more competitive energy efficiency and increase power by around 15% compared to the previous generation. In addition, as is usual in these desktop computers, the client can reinforce it with the inclusion of a RAM memory of up to 32 GB(in tower and microtower configuration). In the field of graphics performance, the option of integrating discrete graphics cards is offered among a wide range of options, such as the NVIDIA GeForce GT630 or the AMD Radeon HD 7650A with 2 GB of dedicated memory . Be that as it may, the graphics built into Intel's own chip offer sufficient performance if the user uses applications that do not require heavy graphics handling.

In the field of storage, we can opt for several different configurations that adapt to the needs of the professional. On the one hand, we find a  traditional 500 GB hard drive. On the other hand, HP also offers the option of integrating an SSD disk of up to 500 GB with the ability to self-encrypt the contained data for greater security. Finally, you can also integrate an SSD disk without this capacity of up to 160 GB. This storage format greatly improves the speed when booting the system or accessing applications. The design aspect is further enhanced with the option of opting for three different size configurations: the traditional tower format, a microtower format, and an ultra-slim third that encases the computer in a small, compact box. As we said before, it is a very useful option for environments where there is little space.

Connectivity includes four USB 3.0 ports (two on the front and two on the front) and six USB 2.0 ports in all three formats. We also have a VGA port and two DisplayPort ports . These desktop computers will be available from July with a starting price of 800 euros.
