Fortunately, in most Android devices, whatever the brand, we can configure a 'Do Not Disturb Mode' so that the sounds of notifications, reminders and calls are automatically deactivated. This time we are going to tell you how to configure it on a Xiaomi terminal with MIUI 10. It is very simple, you just have to make sure you have your device in hand while you read this practical tutorial.
The first thing we have to do is enter the settings of our Xiaomi mobile with MIUI 10. On the menu screen, we have to locate the 'Personal' section and, within it, ' Sound and vibration '. The first option we see is the one we must press, so we will enter 'Silence / Do not disturb'.
On this screen we will find the three different options we have to silence our phone: normal, silence and do not disturb. We focus on the latter because it is the one we are most interested in at the moment.
Activating the 'Do Not Disturb' mode will silence sounds and deactivate vibrations except for alarms. This is all that we can configure in MIUI 10's 'Do Not Disturb' mode.

Another mode that we can choose in MIUI 10 is the 'Silence Mode'. In this mode we are only going to silence calls and notifications, keeping vibrations, alarms and reminders active. In this mode, additionally, we can mute the music transmission, in addition to programming an activation time as we did with the 'Do Not Disturb' mode.
Likewise, we can activate the different modes through a practical shortcut that we will find in the volume button . In MIUI 10, a new volume interface appeared when pressing the side buttons, both increase and decrease. In the bar that appears, we will press the three-point menu to modify the modes, appearing like this.
As you can see, here we can choose the sound mode we prefer in addition to configuring a practical countdown of the chosen mode.
