Great, you already have your ZTE Blade A452 right out of the box. What do you have to do to be able to start it up and use it the same as your previous phone? The key step is to insert the SIM card inside.
In case you don't know, the SIM card is the chip that allows you to use phone calls and the 3G connection. If you don't insert the card, you will only be able to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi, and you will not be able to call anyone or send text messages. It will be like having a small tablet.
What information is saved on the SIM card? On the SIM card you will find your phone number , with the rate you have contracted for minutes to talk, as well as the Internet connection also contracted. It may also be that you have a prepaid SIM card , in which you pay little by little as you top up its balance. In any case, your phone number and the contacts that you have saved in it will be saved there. One tip: before changing the terminal, export all your contacts from the previous phone to the SIM card, that way when you place it in your ZTE Blade A452 you will find your contact book exactly as you left it on your previous phone.
When inserting the SIM card it is important to remember that there are three types nowadays, depending on the size: the miniSIM card (the first one that was introduced in mobile phones, 25x15mm), the microSIM (15 × 12), and the nanoSIM (12x8mm). To be able to start up your ZTE Blade A452 you need to have a microSIM card, check that it is yours, since otherwise you will have to put an adapter, if you have a smaller one, or die-cut it if it is larger. Another option is to go to your nearest telephone store and request a copy of your SIM card adapted to that size.
Once we have the appropriate card, the first thing to do is find the card slot. Please note that this phone is not unibody , so you will need to pry the back of the case (by pressing through the hole in the charger). Once you have done it you will find two slots, one on the left and one on the right. You should use the one on the left, as the one on the right is the slot for the microSD memory card (NEVER insert the SIM card there, it may get stuck). When you look closely at the microSIM slot you will see that there is a small diagram of how the card should be inserted: the cut edge must be on the bottom, and consequently the chip must remain on the inside. With that pose, simply slide the card until you feel it come to a stop. After doing so, proceed to turn on your terminal .
How will we know if the SIM card is correctly inserted? If when you turn on your terminal, it asks you to enter the card's PIN code , it will mean that it has read it. Once you have entered the code, you will be able to enjoy your phone number, your contacts and your Internet connection on your ZTE Blade A452 .
