Huawei's Y range is renewed with new Y7 Pro and Prime. Two devices that share some specifications and design. On this occasion, we focus on the Y7 Pro 2019, which arrives with a design very similar to the current P Smart of 2019, a panoramic screen with drop-type notch and double main camera. We show you its technical specifications, prices and opinions of this new mid-range.
The Huawei Y7 Pro arrives with a 6.26-inch panel. It has an HD + resolution and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. Get this panoramic format for its front, which has hardly any frames. In addition, we have a notch in the upper area, where the selfie camera is housed. This terminal is equipped with a processor from the American Qualcomm. Specifically the Snapdragon 450. An entry-level chip that is combined with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. If 32 GB seems insufficient, we can expand the internal memory through a micro SD of up to 512 GB. Unfortunately, we do not have the latest version of Android. This terminal comes with Android 8.0 Oreo under EMUI 8.2. So we lose features like 'digital wellness', which lets us know how much time we spend with apps.

Autonomy and camera
The battery of this Y7 Pro is 4,000 mAh . More than enough autonomy to endure the day. Above all, taking into account its panel, it moves a Full HD resolution and consumes few resources. Unfortunately we do not have fast charging.
What about the cameras? The Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 mounts a 13-megapixel dual sensor, with a second 2-megapixel camera that takes care of the depth of field. The main lens has an f / 1.8 aperture, which is quite bright. In addition, we have the Artificial Intelligence mode, which allows us to optimize the images and improve the different scenes. The front camera stays at 16 megapixels.

A familiar design
All these specifications go deep into a well-known design. Huawei is using the same design line for its entire 2019 catalog, differentiating in some aspects, such as materials or finishes. In this case, the Y7 Pro 2019 has a polycarbonate back and rounded corners . Its camera is located in the upper area and unlike the Priem model, it does not have a fingerprint reader. The front has a panoramic format, with minimal frames and a 'drop-type' notch in the upper area. The 16 megapixel selfie camera hides here, while the speaker for calls is in the upper area.
Price and availability
The Huawei Y7 Pro could be around 190 euros to change . We still do not know for sure how much it will cost, we will have to be attentive to future news. Nor do we know if it will reach the European market.
