Longer battery life
Users of the original Samsung Gear IconX had a big complaint, and that is that its battery really lasted little. If we look at the figures of the brand itself, if we listened to music through a Bluetooth connection, we reached a little more than an hour and a half of autonomy. Now, thanks to the fact that the battery of the Samsung Gear IconX of 2018 has increased almost double we can spend up to 5 hours listening to music. A change that now, yes, brings these headphones closer to reality in terms of sports dedication.
More comfortable and compact
If we put the models from both years side by side (see previous screenshot) we can see subtle differences. This year's new model, to the right of the image, features a slimmer and slimmer body , which will present much more comfort placed in the ear. One of the great advantages of Bluetooth headphones is to be able to carry them comfortably without discomfort and in this the size is decisive, an element that Samsung has seen fit to change for the renewal of its headphone model.
Improved connectivity
Now, the box in which we load the headphones has a reversible USB Type C connection, thus adapting to the new times. In addition, we went from Bluetooth 4.1 to Bluetooth 4.2 , a much more secure connectivity and data transfer up to two and a half times greater than its predecessor.
