Samsung KS8000 55-inch Flat SUHD TV with Smart TV from 2016

We continue to review the televisions that make up the high-end of Samsung for 2016. Today we want to talk about the Samsung UE55KS8000TXXC . A 55-inch TV that incorporates a 10-bit flat panel with 4K SUHD resolution and Quantum Dot Color technology . This elegant design is accompanied by the best technologies for the treatment of the company's image. The Samsung UE55KS8000 mounts a panel of 55 inches with a resolution SUHD 4K í- 3,840 2,160 pixels . It is a 10-bit panel that uses Samsung's nanocrystal system . Quantum Dot Color technology achieves sharper and more realistic colors than a conventional LED panel. In addition, the company has introduced HDR 1000 technology to achieve dark areas with greater detail and a more impressive brightness and color.

But these three main characteristics are not alone. The Samsung UE55KS8000 also incorporates Precision Black and Peak Illuminator Pro technologies to try to improve one of the great problems of LED panels, that blacks do not look gray. And with Ultra Black, the Korean company wants to minimize reflections on the TV screen as much as possible, another of the great problems of this type of panel. All this accompanied by the Supreme UHD Dimming processing system  with which the brand improves the brightness, color and contrast of the images.

At the moment the content with 4K resolution is quite scarce, so the Samsung UE55KS8000 incorporates the SUHD Remastering Engine scaling  engine to ensure that we can see lower resolution broadcasts with an acceptable quality, such as DTT or some streaming videos.

And precisely to watch streaming videos, among other things, the Samsung UE55KS8000 comes equipped with the latest version of the Tizen OS system . The Korean company has improved its system for Smart TV and has included a new main screen, or Smart Hub , with which we will have more direct access to our favorite programs and applications. All this driven by a powerful Quad-Core processor .
