The Huawei P10 Lite is now official. The device thus joins its two older brothers, Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus, announced at the end of February in Barcelona. This new team arrives with mid-range features. We found a 5.2-inch screen with Full HD resolution , Kirin 655 processor or 4 GB of RAM. For the photographic section, the company has included a 12-megapixel rear sensor and a front 8-megapixel resolution sensor. It also equips a 3,100 mAh battery or fingerprint reader on its back. The price of the Huawei P10 Lite is 350 euros. If you want to know all the features of the Huawei P10 Lite, don't stop reading. We tell you everything.
Design and display
We meet again with a phone built in metal like the previous Huawei P9 Lite. Its rounded edges and its slim and slim design make it quite ergonomic. Its exact measurements are 146.5 x 72 x 7.2 millimeters and its weight 142 grams. Although the company has not commented on the matter, it is normal that this model also integrates the new diamond-cut construction method of its older brothers. Something that will give it greater resistance. A detail that makes it change slightly with respect to the standard and Plus version is that in its case the fingerprint reader is located on the back. His brothers wear him on the start button.

Interestingly, the screen of the Huawei P10 Lite is a little larger than that of the standard version. It is 5.2 inches in size with a Full HD resolution , which gives it a density of 424 pixels per inch. At the moment there are data that are unknown. Hopefully it includes Hyper Diamond diamond cutting technology or Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 protection for added strength. Importantly, the Huawei P10 Lite is also expected in a wide variety of colors. Among them we could highlight a new quite striking blue color.
The photographic section is not as surprising as that of its range brothers. Apparently the Leica seal is not included and the device does not integrate a double rear camera. Failing that, we find a 12 megapixel main sensor with flash with pixels of size of 1.25 microns. In other words, a greater amount of information is captured for each pixel and more detailed photos are obtained.
The secondary camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and records video in Full HD. In principle, a photographic set similar to the one we can see in the Huawei Nova 2.
You already know that if you want to opt for a more elaborate camera, you will have to resort to the Huawei P10 or the Plus. Both include a dual camera with SUMMILUX lenses and f / 1.8 aperture. The lenses offer 20 megapixels in black and white and 12 megapixels in RGB color.

Power and performance
In addition to the screen difference of the Huawei P10 Lite, we find another in the processor section. This device is powered by a Kirin 658. It is an eight-core SoC working at a clock speed of 2.1 GHz. The chip is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM, just the same figure that comes in the Huawei P10 normal. Although its brothers will perform better thanks to the Kirin 960, the Huawei P10 Lite will also work with more powerful apps and games without many problems. Precisely, the graphic section will be in charge of a Mali-T830 MP2 two-core GPU.
Also, it is expected to be available with an internal storage capacity of 32 GB, expandable through the use of microSD-type cards. It is not a low capacity, but in addition to the microSD you already know that you always have the option of resorting to storage services in the cloud. Dropbox or Google Drive among them.
Autonomy and connectivity
The new smartphone equips a 3,000 mAh battery with an option to fast charge . In any case, given the characteristics of the Huawei P10 Lite, we will not have too many autonomy problems. We hope it will last a full day (or more) without having to charge it. Connectivity will not leave you indifferent either. It has a wide range of options: fingerprint reader with associated NFC chip, GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, LTE or WiFi connection.

Another of the new features of the Huawei P10 Lite is found in relation to the software. Huawei has endowed this new Android 7 model with the new EMUI 5.1 customization layer. This new interface is faster and lighter. Its design is simple and minimalist. We can say that it is more focused on interactivity, especially when receiving notifications in some services such as the calendar. We can only say great things about Nougat. For example, the arrival of a new function (multi-window) that will allow us to enjoy two applications at the same time from the same screen.
Where to buy the Huawei P10 Lite (updated in June 2017)
The Huawei P10 Lite has an official price of 350 euros. However, it can already be found in several stores or through operators with more attractive prices.
For example, if you want to buy the Huawei P10 Lite on Amazon, you have a current offer of [amazon_link asins = 'B06XNLMSDX' template = 'PriceLink' store = 'tuexpertocom-21 ′ marketplace =' ES 'link_id =' be39c0b2-51d1-11e7 -800c-2f9555e50fb5 ′]. Definitely a competitive price. In other stores like PcComponentes we also have a good price of 280 euros, while stores like Media Markt or Phone House maintain their original price.
In the case of Spanish operators, we have the Huawei P10 Lite for 264 euros in Orange. At Movistar, you can buy the Huawei P10 Lite for 250 euros. Finally, in the case of Vodafone, its cost rises to 312 euros in cash.
In short, the Huawei P10 Lite is one of the great candidates to become the king of the mid-range this year. Its combat is fought with models like the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 or even its own brother Huawei Nova 2.
The proposal remains clear. A team with mid-range specifications that as a whole does not have much to envy the top of the range. A solvent camera, a very premium design (with the highlight of its new blue color) or a 4 GB RAM memory are some of its great attractions.
However, it runs the risk of being in no man's land due to the drop in prices of models such as the Huawei P9 (last year's flagship) or the Huawei P10 itself. In fact, we have already found this model recently on eBay for less than 400 euros. What is your opinion? Will it be able to reissue the success of Huawei P8 Lite and P9 Lite?
