It is a freemium service, whose most basic functions are free, but which offers more advanced payment plans for 3.49 euros per month, 4.99 euros per quarter and 15.99 euros per year.

Pokémon Home will also allow you to manage your Pokémon, in addition to reviewing their characteristics and making exchanges with other players. The main limitation of the free version is that you can only store 30 Pokémon. The Premium version adds features such as the transfer from the Pokémon Bank and the judge function.

Use the Pokémon bank for Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS games

At this point, you may be wondering how you can transfer the Pokémon that you have stored in the different Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS games, since there is no version of Pokémon Home for these consoles.

In these cases you will have to use the old Pokémon Bank to store these Pokémon and from there transfer them to your Pokémon Home application. Logically, in order to do so, you will have to use the same account in both the Pokémon Bank and Pokémon Home.

The Pokémon Bank will be available to use completely free of charge for a month from the appearance of Pokémon Home, so you have no excuse to transfer the Pokémon you have in previous generations.
