It has everything we are looking for in a simple mobile and the design that we would like to find in a sophisticated phone . It is the Nokia 7230 , a terminal that the Finnish has brought out to contrast with the new Nokia 6700 Slide , more expensive and complex than the current one. Even so, it keeps a colorful design and a generous 2.4-inch screen . Too bad the camera has been reduced to 3.2 megapixels and flash has been ruled out for another occasion . Rounder than usual, the Nokia 7230 comes with a 2GB internal memory , as always expandable with microSD cards .
Design and display
If there is something that stands out about this Nokia 7230 above its characteristics, it is the design . This time Nokia has opted for a phone with a youthful, round and colorful appearance . To this must be added a generous screen TFT 2.4 inch QVGA and 240 x 320 pixels resolution, in addition to 262,000 colors . Features normally present in mid-range phones like this one.
Responds to some measures 98 x 48 x 14.75 mm and only weighs 100 grams . Obviously we are facing a phone with a slide or sliding keyboard , tailor-made for those looking for a fun and functional design . That is why Nokia has created a model in hot pink for the more daring and another in graphite gray for those who want to maintain their composure.
Connections
Despite coming on the market as a simple and basic phone , this Nokia 7230 has a 3G connection , compatible with the 850/900/1900/2100 standards in GSM / EDGE / WCDMA / HSDPA . It has a built-in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR connection to transfer data without cables. To this we must add the ability to connect via a miniUSB 2.0 port , both for access to the bottom of the memory of the phone to recharge the battery of the terminal.

The terminal is capable of playing music, video and photos in JPEG, EXIF, MP3, WMA, WAV, ACC, MPEG4, H.263, 3GP, NB AMR, MIDI, eAAC, eAAC +, DRM 10 and OMA DRM formats, in addition to play our favorite radio station . You can record voice and play music through a more powerful built-in speaker .
Photographic camera
The camera of this Nokia phone is not at the level of those that usually integrate high-end phones. We are talking about a camera with only 3.2 megapixels (2048 x 1536 pixels) and no flash .Even so, it has a four-fold zoom and is capable of recording 320 x 240-pixel QVGA video and at 15 images per second.
