The main point in favor of this TP-Link PLC kit is the ease of use . In a few steps the devices are configured to improve the signal at home.
In addition, the installation and management of the network is much easier if you use the tpPLC application , available for Android and iOS smartphones. It can be downloaded for free from Google Play and from the Apple App Store.
When the devices are connected to the network, we can use the app to manage all the connected devices in real time, as well as interpret the information from the LED indicators .
With the tpPLC app we can also configure the settings of the WiFi network or install firmware updates on the devices.
Of course: it should be clarified that the application is quite simple and fails relatively frequently : sometimes it closes unexpectedly and other times it takes or has difficulty to detect the devices connected to the network.
On the other hand, the PLC devices generate a very stable and high-speed connection network . It serves, therefore, to solve the usual problem of remote corners where the connection usually does not reach well and suffers cuts.
Price and conclusions
This kit, made up of the two mentioned PLC devices, is available on the market for about 90 euros .
It is, therefore, a fairly competitive price, if we consider other options available but not as complete. In addition, the TP-Link TL-WPA7510 KIT is an interesting purchase option if we want to install PLCs at home without having to invest a lot of time or effort in configuration.
I could improve, yes, the application to manage the devices, which fails a lot in the identification and connection of the PCLs .
All things considered, this TP-Link PCL kit is a good accessory for the home or office , ensuring a stable connection in the farthest corners of the router.
