This has been a great year for Nokia. The company has once again been the center of attention thanks to Android and its new Nokia 8. A high-end phone with dual cameras and Carl Zeiss optics. After going down a few steps with the Nokia 6.5 and 3, now it surprises again with a device that is positioned in a lower range. We refer to the Nokia 2. The phone has just been presented and has surprised, above all, by its large capacity battery (4,100 mAh with fast charge) and its price. It is also governed by Android, in its version 7.1. It will land soon for only 99 euros.

Aluminum and polycarbonate design
The Nokia 2 offers a design very similar to the rest of the devices announced this year by the company. It presents a modernist air with a frame built in 6000 series aluminum. It is the same material that is available in some high-end ranges on the market and that gives it greater resistance. Although as we say, it is only present in the frame. The back of the device is dressed in polycarbonate in various colors: silver, copper and white, silver and black or copper. For its part, the front has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass sheet.
The Nokia 2 comes with a 5-inch LTPS screen with HD resolution , which translates to a density of 293 pixels per inch. Logically attending to this configuration we realize that we are facing a simple and discreet telephone. The prefect companion for sending WhatsApp, browsing, talking, using Facebook and little else.
A discreet hardware with great autonomy
In the guts of this new Nokia 2 we are going to find a fairly tight processor. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 212, one of Qualcomm's most basic models, with a 32-bit architecture and quad cores running at 1.3 Ghz. This chip is accompanied by only 1 GB of RAM and an Adreno 304 GPU. It is, therefore, a set that will not allow us to work at full speed or use applications that are too heavy. With regard to storage capacity, the Nokia 2 has 8 GB of space with the possibility of increasing it through microSD cards of up to 128 GB.
Of course, the biggest novelty of this phone focuses on the battery. The Nokia 2 equips a 4,000 mAh with fast charge, which, according to the company itself, will allow us to spend two full days without having to resort to charging.
Simple camera and Android 7
As expected, especially considering the characteristics of the device, the Nokia 2 is not going to shine too much in the photographic section. This model has an 8 megapixel main camera with automatic focus and LED flash, The front camera has a 5 megapixel resolution and fixed focus system. However, Nokia has wanted to compensate for this simple hardware with more current software. Thus, the Nokia 2 will land on the market with Android 7.1 Nougat, one of the latest versions of Google's mobile platform. In addition, Nokia has promised that it will receive Android 8 Oreo shortly, something that other mobiles in its category will not be able to boast about.

The new Nokia 2 will be available in mid-November for only 99 euros. There is also talk of a Dual SIM version, although only for some selected regions.
