Kantar has published this morning a study in which it shows the best-selling mobile brands and models in Spain during 2016. As you can imagine, at the brand level, Samsung continues to be in the first position. But what happens if we look at the individual level? As it turns out, the best-selling mobile in Spain in 2016 was the Huawei P8 Lite. It is followed by a Samsung terminal and two “Made in Spain” terminals. The first high-end mobile that we see on the list is the iPhone 6s, located in fifth position. We are going to know the 10 best-selling mobiles in Spain in 2016 .

As you will now see, the mid-range reigns in our country. At the very top we have the Huawei P8 Lite . An elegant terminal, with a 5-inch screen, a 13-megapixel camera, a Kirin 620 processor and 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, it is logical that the company has decided to give it a new life by presenting the Huawei P8 Lite 2017.
In second position we find the Samsung Galaxy J5 . This terminal includes a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13 megapixel camera and 3,100 milliamp battery.
In third and fourth position, and a long way from the first two, are two terminals of the Spanish company BQ. In third position is the BQ Aquaris X5 , a terminal with a 5-inch screen, a 13-megapixel camera, a Snapdragon 412 processor, 2 or 3 GB of RAM and a 2,900-milliamp battery.
Right after the first BQ terminal, in fourth position, we have the BQ Aquaris M5 . A simple terminal but that offers a 5-inch screen with Full HD resolution, Snapdragon 615 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13 megapixel camera and 3,120 milliamp battery.
It is in the fifth position where we find the first terminal of those considered high-end. Specifically it is the iPhone 6s. There is no doubt that the arrival of the iPhone 7 and the reduction in price of the previous model have contributed to this increase in sales.
The other five
Following the iPhone we have the Huawei P9 Lite in sixth position . A trimmed version of the P9 that offers a 5.2-inch screen, 13-megapixel camera, Kirin 650 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 3,000-milliamp battery.
On the other hand, in the seventh position we have the Huawei Y635 . A terminal aimed at the low end, with a 5-inch screen, Snapdragon 410 processor and 1 GB of RAM.
We also have a low-end terminal in eighth position, the Samsung Galaxy J3 . A mobile with a 5-inch screen, quad-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera and 2,600 milliamp battery.
We go down to the ninth position to see again a high-end terminal, the Samsung Galaxy S6 . With this terminal something similar happens to what happens with the iPhone 6s. And, since the Samsung Galaxy S7 is on the market, the previous model dropped its price considerably. However, it is still a very powerful mobile with really good features.
Finally, and closing the list, we have the BQ Aquaris E5s . A terminal with a 5-inch screen, Snapdragon 412 processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 2,850 milliamp battery and 13-megapixel main camera.
In short, it is clear that the vast majority of users opt for low-mid-range terminals. The increase in sales of high-end terminals that have reduced their price is also surprising.
