These Sennheiser are a wired version of the PXC 550 . As for the headphones themselves, they are, as we said, large (that is, they cover the ear completely) and with luxurious finishes : they have imitation leather ear cushions and the full headband is padded . Its internal dynamic speaker is capable of a wide frequency response, from 17 Hz to 23 kHz , and presents an impedance of 45 Ohms to the source. Despite having the battery and internal circuits, and a headband structure that allows them to be folded to carry them in a compact case, their weight reaches only 225 grams. The cable provided in the box is 1.4 meters long , and the sheath to store them (folded) is also delivered at the source. The price of the Sennheiser PXC 480 will be around 300 euros .
