Why WhatsApp uses a lot of battery
In general, the energy impact of WhatsApp on Android and iOS is usually moderate. The latest update of the application, however, has brought some users of both platforms upside down .
It is advisable in this case to update the application to the latest version through the store or through an external APK or follow the following steps:
- Go to Settings / Applications / WhatsApp / Storage and delete the data and cache of the application.
- Go to Settings / Battery / Battery saver / Applications / WhatsApp and activate the option Restrict background applications.
Another option is to turn to WhatsApp Business or an old version of WhatsApp through sites like APK Mirror .
Why does WhatsApp consume a lot of data
If we use WhatsApp mobile data through we can disable the automatic download of files to limit the use of data from the application .
Within the application we will click on the three Options points and then on Settings. Finally we will go to Data and storage, where we have to mark the option of No file in the sections of Download with mobile data and In data roaming . It is also recommended to activate the Reduce data usage option to reduce call consumption.
Why won't WhatsApp let me send messages
Most problems related to sending messages are usually related to the Internet connection. Checking it is as simple as trying to access another service that requires a connection , such as Spotify, Instagram, Facebook or Google Chrome.
If everything works normally, it is likely that the problem comes from the WhatsApp servers . On the Down Detector website we can see a real-time report on the status of the application in the rest of the world.
Why won't WhatsApp let me send photos or videos
It is probably due to a space problem. To see the available space on the phone we can go to the Storage section within the Settings application .
The only feasible solution in this case is to clean the memory. Applications like Cleaner for WhatsApp can help us delete photos, videos and heavy files from the messaging application.
Why won't WhatsApp let me send audios
The reason may be due to a problem similar to the previous two cases. If the phone's storage is occupied by other applications, WhatsApp will not allow any multimedia elements to be sent: neither audios, nor images, nor videos . Nor do you download them from conversations with third parties.
If, on the other hand, the problem arises from the servers, we can only wait for them to be operational again .
Why won't WhatsApp let me delete message for everyone
Currently the option to delete WhatsApp messages is limited to 68 minutes , that is, one hour and eight minutes. Once this time has elapsed, we will not be able to delete any message from the conversation, unless in the eyes of the rest of the participants.
Why does WhatsApp take up so much space
Unlike Telegram and other messaging applications, WhatsApp stores all incoming files in the phone's memory : photos, videos, stickers , GIFs, audios, backup copies ... Again we refer you to the Cleaner for WhatsApp application to clean the content of the application completely. We can also resort to clearing cache and memory that we have detailed in previous answers.
Why does WhatsApp shut itself down
It may be due to an application related problem. Before proceeding to uninstall it, we can clear the cache and storage of WhatsApp through the Android settings . It is also recommended to restart the phone and use an alternative version of the app using an external APK file.
Why does WhatsApp ask me for a password
Two-step verification is a function that allows us to protect our WhatsApp account through a password that is requested at the time of logging in and from time to time once we are inside our account .
To deactivate this function, just go to the WhatsApp settings; specifically to Security. Finally we will go to Verification in two steps and deactivate the homonymous option , not without first entering the corresponding verification code.
Why has WhatsApp suspended my number
Suspension of a WhatsApp account, according to company policy, may be due to the following factors:
- We have been blocked by a considerable number of people.
- We have been denounced by a considerable number of people.
- We have abused the broadcasting of messages to other contacts.
- We have used a modified WhatsApp application, such as GBWhatsApp or WhatsApp Plus.
To recover a WhatsApp account we can follow the steps that we describe in the tutorial that we leave you below.
Why don't WhatsApp notifications sound
The sound management of WhatsApp can be carried out through two sources, which generally correspond to WhatsApp and the system itself (Android or iOS). In the first case, it is enough to go to the WhatsApp settings, and more specifically to the Notifications section , to verify if the respective notification tones are active.
To make the notifications sound, we will have to choose one of the sounds available in the application through the Notification tone section in Messages, Groups and Calls . In the case of Android or iOS, we will have to make sure that the Do not disturb mode is not active, as well as the Silent mode or the No interruptions mode.
What happened to WhatsApp Plus
The application created by the Spanish developer Rafalens has stopped having official support from it. Currently there are modifications of the latter, as is the case of GBWhatsApp. Unfortunately, the latter is no longer supported, and today it is only possible to obtain outdated versions of the latter , with security holes and code of dubious quality. In fact, if we stumble upon a supposedly updated version of WhatsApp Plus or GBWhatsApp, it is most likely a fake version.
From Tuexperto.com we completely discourage the installation of unofficial WhatsApp clients, since not only can they pose a danger to the integrity of the phone data, they can also lead to the lifetime suspension of the account associated with the phone number that we have registered with the latter.
Why am I not receiving notifications from WhatsApp, only when I open it
Layers of mobile personalization from brands of Chinese origin, such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Meizu and Oppo, greatly limit the use of background applications and their notifications.
To fix WhatsApp notification problems, we will generally have to follow the following method:
- Go to Settings / Battery / Battery saver / Applications and access WhatsApp.
- Select the Manually manage option and activate the Automatic startup, Secondary startup and Run in background options.
If we have a Xiaomi mobile we will have to follow a series of additional steps. First, we will have to go to the Notifications section in Settings. Then we will go to WhatsApp and activate the options of Show notifications, Show notification icons, Notifications on the lock screen and Allow the use of LED light .
In the Notification Bar section, it is also recommended to activate the Android mode instead of MIUI to receive WhatsApp notifications correctly.
Why can't I see the WhatsApp status of a contact
It may be due, in all probability, that the contact has blocked us through the WhatsApp Block function. We can verify this by sending a message to the person in question: if it appears with a single gray tick, it is very likely that they have blocked us .
Why is WhatsApp Web not loading
The origin of this problem can be due to three factors. The first one is precisely about the stability of the application servers. Using Down Detector we can check if WhatsApp works - or not - in Spain and the rest of the world.
The second and third factor drink directly from the browser. WhatsApp Web is currently compatible with the following browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge Browser
We can also resort to clearing the cache to solve all the possible conflicts that the browser is generating with WhatsApp. In Google Chrome we can resort to the following address:
- chrome: // settings / clearBrowserData
In the rest of the browsers we will generally have to access the browser settings.
Why doesn't WhatsApp Web show the QR code
The problem may arise from the same conflict as the previous problem. Therefore, it is best to delete the browser's data, cache, and cookies to eliminate all conflicts with WhatsApp Weibo, or use an alternative browser or even the WhatsApp desktop application .
