Both the Lenovo IdeaPad S540 and S340 boast a slim and slim design. Perhaps even more so in the case of the first. Its thickness reaches up to 16.9 millimeters in the case of the model with a 15-inch screen. With a 14-inch panel it stays at 15.9 millimeters. The IdeaPad S340, meanwhile, is thicker, 17.9 millimeters in its two versions. Also, the Lenovo IdeaPad S540 is a device that does not go unnoticed thanks to its diamond-cut anodized aluminum housing, which gives it a very elegant appearance. Once it is put on sale, it can be purchased in three different colors: abyss blue, copper or mineral gray. It is a piece of equipment that we can put in a backpack without being too much of a hindrance.

The IdeaPad S340 is made of aluminum and, like its companion in the range, has slim edges that allow you to take full advantage of the screen. This model will be available upon release in pink, gray, black or blue. If you look at the keyboards, they both feature comfortable, well-spaced keys with white backlighting. The trackpad looks quite spacious and comfortable to navigate through the browser or folders.
Regarding the screens, both have IPS panels of 14 or 15 inches and Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. In the case of the S540, mount an anti-reflective panel with a brightness of 300 nits with the option to choose it in a glossy glass finish. In addition, it offers an NTSC color gamut of up to 72 percent, which means that we will see more realistic images than in other rival teams.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S540 and S340 are powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors. Both are accompanied in turn by a RAM memory of up to 12 GB. For storage, the S540 will be offered with up to 512GB in SSD format. For its part, the S340 can also be purchased with an SSD unit of up to 512 GB, although there will also be options with a 1 or 2 TB HDD. For the graphics we have an NVIDIA GeForce MX250.
And if you place a lot of importance on computer sound because you use it a lot at night, the Lenovo IdeaPad S540 is possibly the best idea. In any case, both have fast charging, which will allow us to charge the equipment in more than half in a few minutes. It is clear that both are designed to transport from one place to another.
