Dual Pro Camera with Artificial Intelligence
Despite its low price, the LG K50 has a dual camera system on its rear. It has a 13 MP main sensor with f / 2.2 aperture , which is accompanied by a second 2-megapixel sensor with f / 2.4 aperture . LG has called this set Dual Pro camera.
The second sensor allows you to take portraits by choosing the level of background blur. In addition, on the front we have a 13 megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture for our selfies. This camera also offers portrait mode, although this time it is done by software.
Also, both cameras have AI CAM . This Artificial Intelligence system recognizes eight different scenes and applies the ideal settings for each shot. The camera is capable of detecting if we are photographing people, flowers, animals, food or landscapes, among others, thus applying the perfect settings each time.
Fashionable design and simple but effective technical package
The LG K50 has a design that we could say is "fashionable" . We have a shiny back, probably made of plastic (LG has not given details of the material used). The frames are metallic and 2.5D glass has been used on the front.
And speaking of the front, it has a 6.3-inch IPS FullVision screen . It offers HD + resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels and a drop-shaped notch. As for the fingerprint reader, we have it behind, just under the main cameras of the device. As is usual in the manufacturer's terminals, the LG K50 has a Military Resistance Certification .
Under the hood we have an eight-core processor running at a maximum of 2 GHz . It is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage . On the other hand, it includes a 3,500 milliamp battery that should give us a really good autonomy.
The technical set is completed by a 7.1 channel DTS: X 3D surround sound system . In addition, the LG K50 features updated connectivity, with Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band 802.11ac WiFi. Of course, we do not have a USB Type-C port.
Finally, comment that the terminal has Dual SIM with duplicate applications . That is, with each SIM we can use a different account of WhatsApp, Facebook and other apps. Ideal to carry two mobiles in one completely.
Price and availability
In short, a fairly complete mobile for its price. And is that the LG K50 will go on sale in mid-July with an official price of 200 euros .
