The Alcatel 3X is the perfect example of a new, better, more beautiful and cheaper mid-range. Nice for the presence of frames without frames, good for functions until recently we only saw high-end, such as the double camera. And economical for its price of 180 euros. Other features that should be noted are its 5.7-inch HD + screen, 3 GB of RAM or its elegant design with glass in blue, black or metallic gold. By now we can say that the screen without frames is not a fad, but almost an obligation. The Alcatel 3X also joins the bandwagon in its new batch of mobiles, including Alcatel 3X itself. This device has a 5.7-inch panel with 18: 9 format and HD + resolution. That is, we enjoy a slightly lower screen space than the Samsung Galaxy S8, but in a much smaller body. The big problem with this type of screen is that there are many apps or videos that still do not take advantage of this format, which forces us to lose part of the image or keep a black strip on the sides. However, with the progress these panels are having, it is only a matter of time before it changes.
The dimensions of this mobile stand at 153.5 x 71 x 8.5 millimeters, with a weight of 144 grams . It is light and compact enough to be comfortable to wear. In addition, we must highlight the care that has been put into its design, with the combination of metal and glass. A very attractive option for footprints but that looks great when it has just been wiped. In addition, we can find the Alcatel 3X in three colors, metallic blue, metallic black and metallic gold .
Double chamber
It is another of the great trends of recent months. The Alcatel 3X incorporates a double camera on the back, with a 13-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens. Alcatel's bet is to make its second wide-angle lens. Thanks to this, larger photos are obtained and buildings or landscapes are never cut off. Specifically, an angle of 120 degrees is reached. Nor could it miss the famous bokeh mode to focus on a part of the photo and blur the face. We will have to wait to have this mobile in your hands to check the quality of your photos. Technical set and memory
In its guts we have a quad-core MediaTek processor with 1.28 GHz per core, along with 3 GB of RAM . It is not a very powerful chip but the RAM ensures that we can run a good number of processes without problems. As for the internal memory, it reaches 32 GB, of which 20 GB are left to store our personal files and photos. As usual, we can use a microSD memory card to expand the space.

Nor could the Alcatel 3X be missing the popular fingerprint reader , an interesting alternative to the PIN or the pattern to protect the mobile. In this case, it is located at the rear, just below the camera. Personally, it seems to me the most comfortable position to place the reader. Another of the additions that this year will reach a good handful of mobiles is the unlocking by face recognition. It is a function that takes advantage of the camera but is less secure than fingerprint unlocking.
The Alcatel 3X incorporates a 3,000 milliamp battery . In principle, being a less powerful equipment and with HD resolution it should give us a good performance throughout the day, although until testing it it is mere speculation. Alcatel gives the figure of time of use in call (5 hours in 4G), at this point there are few who use the mobile mainly to talk.
Market arrival and price
We have already anticipated at the beginning that the price of the Alcatel 3X will be 180 euros. A very economical cost that can open the doors to the difficult mid-range market. Of course, we will have to wait a few months, since the 3X will not land in Spain until next June.
