Since the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, LG's presentation schedule has been rather scarce. Today the company presents the LG K12 + , a mobile with a price of no more than 300 euros that together with the recently presented LG G8s ThinQ will make up the 2019 catalog as far as the mid-range is concerned. The terminal comes with MIL-STD 810G military resistance and a design that reminds us of previous K-range models such as the LG K11.

Plastic design with military resistance
The design of the LG K12 + is not something that stands out precisely for its originality. The terminal repeats the same design lines seen in previous generations of the K series, with a body made of plastic and a 5.7-inch screen with TFT technology and HD + resolution without any notch.
The novelty this time comes through its military certification, based on the MIL-STD 810G protocol that in theory withstands exterminating situations of rain, temperature, falls and humidity . Nothing to do with the traditional IP68.
There is little to highlight from the rest of the details, beyond the 18: 9 ratio of the screen, the fingerprint sensor on the back and the dedicated button for Google Assistant located on one of the sides.
Mediatek processor and rather meager memory
In the performance section, LG has decided to play it safe. Mediatek Helio P22 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable via micro SD cards. It is not the most powerful mobile of 2019, but it is a step ahead of the low range.
For the rest, it has a 3,000 mAh battery, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi with all available bands . The charging port is micro USB, and unsurprisingly, there's no hint of fast charging in it.
Single camera and front LED flash
If the trend during this 2019 is to have up to two and three camera sensors in the back, LG bases the photographic section of the LG K12 + on a single 16 megapixel rear sensor and f / 2.0 focal aperture . This is compatible with portrait mode, and has multiple scene modes based on Artificial Intelligence.
As for the front sensor, it has 8 megapixels and the same focal aperture as the previous one . The novelty comes in the form of an LED flash, located in this case next to the speaker.
Price and availability of the LG K12 + in Spain
The terminal has been presented in Brazil and at the moment it has not been announced in other countries. The arrival in Spain has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to take place during the second half of 2019 .
About 272 euros to change is what the device will cost in its only version of 3 and 32 GB, at least in direct conversion with the Brazilian real.
