And although it is not operational in all communities, it is a large area very present in large and medium-sized cities. Obviously, there is the possibility of making the purchase through the internet, although first it is important to check if home delivery is offered or not. But, let's take a look at Alcampo's online store. This is what we have found in 2019.

Like a good hypermarket, in Alcampo you can find a wide variety of products. That is why it is important that they are very well organized. And this in principle is achieved, thanks to the design of the online store. Maybe we miss something more graphic, with less text and more icons, that serve to guide us without having to read a paragraph. This is great for making a quick purchase.
At this point, it should be noted, however, that as soon as we access the main page we will find direct access to four very interesting categories: Baby World, Pets, Ecological and Gourmet. In this way, if you go for these products, you will find them faster. For the rest, you will have to explore.

If there is something that Alcampo has, like a good hypermarket, it is a wide variety of products. And we are not referring only to groceries, but also to a lot of items located within the categories of Appliances, Technology and Home. In this way, we can buy anything from a washing machine to a mobile, through a kitchen robot, furniture for the living room or decoration elements for the bathroom.
Offers and payment facilities
Unlike other stores (such as Mercadona), Alcampo offers its customers quite a few discounts and facilities in the payment of some products, although it is not as easy as we would like to find them. On the main page you will find a large part of the offers that are in force at the moment, but most are not basic products or regular purchases.
You can see, for example, offers on televisions, mobiles, washing machines, patio furniture or mattresses. You will not find so many when accessing the grocery sections, but you should know that, in the left column there is an option that reads: Products on sale . Like all stores, Alcampo has a special section in which the conditions for the collection and delivery services are specified, as well as the prices that correspond to each of these transactions. In addition, from the main page you can access a special section on promotions for these services. Right now, for example, the free collection of food products is offered for amounts of 90 euros. There is also free collection if certain items are purchased or savings of up to 3.90 euros in the home delivery service.
With the 1 hour express service for non-food products, the collection can be free within an hour after the order is completed. If you make a food purchase and want to receive it normally at home, you should know that the shipping and preparation costs are 9.90 euros. In the case of large white-label appliances, it is necessary to make a prior consultation, but in most cases installation, start-up and removal of the old appliance are offered free of charge.

If this supermarket stands out for something, now and in other comparisons of previous years, it is because of the large number of promotions and how highly publicized they are. This is, in fact, its hallmark. So if you're a bargain shopper, this is the store to look for.

Buying at Carrefour is a bit more complicated, since the products are not at first sight. In fact, to access the supermarket you have to press the Menu button and expressly click on Supermarket. When accessing this section, you will also have it a bit complicated, because it is not easy to distinguish which products we will find in each section: The Market, The Pantry, Drinks, Baby, Cleaning and home .
Then you will have to keep pressing, until you find the category of products you want to buy. For example, El Mercado> Delicatessen and cheeses to the cut, and then dive into an endless number of different cheese subcategories: National cheeses, DO national cheese, fresh and bar cheeses or international cheeses . As we have indicated, the greatest advantage of Carrefour is the offers. As soon as you enter the store you will find the offers of the day. You will find many, both in the online store and in the physical supermarket, although you should know that Carrefour offers a lot of offers of these characteristics . Home delivery is free from 80 euros if you pay with PayPal , but also for purchases from 100 euros with the PASS card or 120 euros, with other forms of payment. After discounts, of course.
If you make purchases between 90 and 120 euros, the cost is 6 euros. But if you spend less than 90 euros, the preparation and shipping rises up to 9 euros . In the case of collection in the store, you will have it free for purchases from 50 euros or you will pay 3 euros, if you spend less than 50 euros.
It is the supermarket chain that sells the most in all of Spain. Juan Roig's has its own online store, so if you want to buy you can do it without any problem.
