As we see if biofuels exacerbate social problems , some are bothering to come up with a way to create biodiesel from household waste . The idea comes from León , and is called Ecofa . Its main inventor is Francisco Angulo , a 31-year-old young man who found a way to obtain biodiesel after observing the behavior of bacteria in the middle of nature. Thus, he realized that any of these is capable of producing "fats" by itself, an essential raw material to generate biodiesel.
Angulo says that he observed that even in the water in the puddles a greasy layer was generated . When he analyzed it in the laboratory with his team, he realized that any microorganism was capable of generating fats when active , something that could be reused to produce the blessed substance. With this, he decided to go for the organic waste that we generate at home, being able to obtain up to one liter of biodiesel for every ten kilos of waste .
The Ecofa project has already managed to scientifically demonstrate its mission , so it is now in the midst of industrial development . At the moment, a Swiss company has already contacted Francisco, to finance and carry out the project properly. But it goes for long, since s and has predicted a year and a half waiting for us to see some results. But you know: it is never too late, if happiness is good.
