We had been hearing rumors for a while that Samsung was planning to renew its mid-range and today they have been confirmed. The South Korean brand has announced the second generation of its Galaxy A series  - devices that combine a very attractive design with a technical profile that falls within the upper-middle range. The first Samsung Galaxy A were released towards the last stage of 2014 and their success has made Samsung want to repeat. The new smartphones that are added to the brand's catalog are the Samsung Galaxy A3 2016, Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 and Samsung Galaxy A7 2016, which is what we are going to deal with in this article. The Samsung Galaxy A7It is the largest model in the range, but in addition to its size, it also benefits from slightly more complete features than its little brother, such as the fingerprint sensor   compatible with Samsung Pay. We tell you all about the  Samsung Galaxy A7 .

Design is one of the pillars of the mobiles that Samsung has launched throughout this year. In March they presented the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge , which released a new design language in which materials are the protagonists - metal for the frame and glass to cover both sides. The casing of the first Galaxy A were made of a single piece of aluminum (unibody), but now Samsung has decided to follow the same path they did with their flagship. The  Samsung Galaxy A7 has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, with an aluminum frame and resistant glass.by way of protection on both sides, in addition the screen has been very close to the edge. Its measurements are 151.5 x 74.1 x 7.3 mm and weighs 172 grams.

Speaking of screen,  Samsung Galaxy A7 integrates a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED panel , which develops 1,920 x 1,080 pixels of resolution - no changes compared to the previous version. On the front there is also an element that is worth commenting, and it is none other than the fingerprint sensor.  This piece is one of the main novelties with respect to the previous generation and, in the same way that we find in other models of the brand, the sensor has been integrated into the start button. The terminal is compatible with the Samsung Pay payment system , which would arrive in Spain in early 2016 . As for the cameras, the rear sensor has 13 megapixelsand carries optical stabilizer , while the front stays 5 megapixels  (both have lens f / 1.9 ).

If we go to the more technical section, the  second generation Samsung Galaxy A7 integrates an 8-core 1.6 Ghz processor and 3 Gb of RAM . In addition, it offers 16 Gb of storage expandable with MicroSD and comes with a 3,300 milliamp battery compatible with fast charging. One of the drawbacks of the  Samsung Galaxy A7 is that it comes standard with Android 5.1 Lollipop, although we trust that it will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow soon. At the moment there are no official prices, but we will have more data early next year.
