Little by little new details about the televisions that we can buy during the year 2019 are arriving. Although at the beginning of the year almost all the models are presented, the truth is that until the middle of the year more or less they cannot be purchased in stores. But it seems that Sony already has its most important LED models ready. Today we have known the price in Spain of the Sony XG95 and XG85 televisions , two of the top models in Sony's LED range for this year. Both will be available in diagonals ranging from 55 to 85 inches. But before looking at the prices, let's quickly review its characteristics.
Sony XG95
The Sony XG95 has the best technology from the Japanese manufacturer. It is equipped with the X1 Ultimate image processor , the same one that we find in the OLED range. Additionally, it features X-Wide Angle technology to improve viewing angles, as well as X-Motion Clarity to maintain fluidity and clarity in fast-action scenes.
To achieve deeper blacks and better contrast, the Sony XG95 uses a full-range LED lighting system . It also has X-tended Dynamic Range PRO technology , which achieves 6 times more contrast than a conventional LED TV.
Like its OLED siblings, the Sony XG95 supports Dolby Vision and features Dolby Atmos audio technology . In addition, it equips the Acoustic Multi-Audio audio system , which incorporates two sound positioning tweeters at the rear of the television to the Bass Reflex speakers to offer Sound-from-Picture Reality.
All this completed with the Android TV operating system with the integrated Google Assistant . The Sony XG95 will be available in four diagonals ranging from 55 ″ to 85 inches. At the moment we know the price of three of these models, with the price of the largest model to be confirmed:
- Sony KD-55XG9505 (55-inch): 2,000 euros
- Sony KD-65XG9505 (65 inches): 2,800 euros
- Sony KD-75XG9505 (75 inches): 4,500 euros
Sony XG85
The XG85 series drops a notch in performance to offer more economical models. It includes the 4K HDR Processor X1 and uses an Edge LED lighting system instead of Full Array.
The models in this series feature 4K X-Reality PRO technology , which achieves sharper and more detailed images. In addition, compatibility with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound is maintained .
And speaking of sound, the XG85 series also features the Acoustic Multi-Audio system for a better experience. The Android TV operating system is not missing with the Google Assistant included.
As we said, the Sony XG85 series is made up of several models with different characteristics. At the moment we only know the price of the XG8596 models :

- Sony KD-65XG8596 (65 inches): 2,000 euros
- Sony KD-75XG8596 (75 inches): 3,000 euros
