Huawei has just unveiled the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, a device very similar to the Huawei P Smart Z that we met a few days ago. The terminal follows the same design line, with a main screen and a retractable front camera, although this model includes a triple camera instead of a double one. Like the P Smart Z, the Y9 Prime 2019 also comes powered by a Kirin 710F processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM, equips a 4,000 mAh battery, and is governed by Android 9 under EMUI 9.

The new Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 follows the design line of the P Smart Z. That is, a metal and glass body, with a panel that occupies practically the entire front and in which there are almost no frames. The company has not included a notch or a hole in the screen to house the front camera. This is hidden in the upper part of the device, it is retractable and it is activated only when we are going to take a selfie. On the back we see a fingerprint reader and a triple camera arranged in a vertical position.
The Y9 Prime 2019 screen has a size of 6.59 inches and a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, which means a density of 391 pixels per inch. The new equipment is powered by a Kirin 710F processor of the house, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and a storage of 64 GB or 128 GB. Both versions can be expanded by using microSD-type cards up to 512GB.
Regarding the photographic section, the Y9 Prime 2019 includes a triple camera formed by a first 16-megapixel sensor, a second 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a third additional 2-megapixel sensor for depth measurements. As for the rest of the features, the new team is governed by Android 9 under EMUI 9 and has a 4,000 mAh battery. It is not specified whether it offers fast charging. The Huawei P Smart Z does include it, so it is very likely that it also shares this feature.
Pricing and availability
At the moment, it is unknown if this Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 will arrive in Spain. It is very possible that he does, since other members of his family have ended up landing in our country. What is known is that it will be available in three colors: emerald, black and blue . Regarding its price, this could be around 300-380 euros, taking into account that it offers some features superior to the P Smart Z, which currently costs 280 euros.
