1. Lightweight and durable design
One of the main attributes of the Lenovo ThinkPad X395 is that it is an ultrabook designed by and to transport. It has a thickness of 16.9 millimeters and a weight of only 1.28 kilos. The objective is that the owner of the equipment has no problems when he has to take it from home to work and vice versa, or on trips and outings. In addition, this lightweight design is joined by a very resistant chassis. As with all notebooks in the ThinkPad family, the X395 has 12 military-grade specifications and has undergone more than 200 quality tests. That is, it is fully prepared to operate in extreme conditions, whether in very cold or very hot places, withstands sandstorms, or even liquid spills.
2. Different screens to choose from
When purchasing this model, you can opt for four different screen options, all with a size of 13.3 inches. Thus, you can have a TN panel with HD resolution and 250 nits of brightness, an IPS panel with Full HD resolution and 300 nits of brightness, an IPS touch panel with the same resolution and brightness as the previous one and, finally, a panel IPS with 400 nits of brightness and PrivacyGuard system. Regardless of which option you choose, the slim bezel design will give it a pretty stylish look.
3. Guaranteed power
Inside the Lenovo ThinkPad X395 we find a second generation AMD Ryzen 7 PRO processor, accompanied by up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and AMD Radeon Vega graphics. For storage we have up to 1 TB of PCIe storage or up to 256 GB of SATA SSD storage. It is a solvent set that will allow you to work fluently without problems or to use several tools simultaneously.
4. Battery for long hours
Despite its compact and small size, the Lenovo ThinkPad X395 houses a battery inside for long hours of use. According to the company, this equipment is able to last up to 14.5 hours without having to go through the plug. Logically, the duration of the autonomy will depend a lot on the established configuration. It is already known that, for example, having the maximum brightness is not the same as having it at the minimum half the time. The good thing is that it has a 65W charger that uses fast charging through its USB Type-C connector. This means that in just half an hour of charging we can have more than half the battery for when we are in a hurry. In this way, it will be possible to recharge it for more than 11.5 hours of use on a scale of one hour.
5. Security and connections
Another aspect in which Lenovo has worked the most in this team has been security. The company has included the ThinkShutter system, a physical cover that automatically locks the webcam when not in use. This never hurts, since this way we can be sure that it is only activated when we want, avoiding intruders or hackers. In addition, the ThinkPad X395 also has a fingerprint reader, ensuring security at all times when logging in or when making purchases in online stores.
When it comes to connections and ports, this model offers a wide array of options: a USB 3.1 Gen1 port, a USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, two USB Type-C 2nd generation ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, as well as a jack port. 3.5mm and a MicroSD card reader. To this must be added Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11ac connection. Dolby Audio Premium sound is not lacking either. This is a great addition if you usually watch movies or series on Netflix, or make use of music playlists on Spotify, through your laptop. You will see how the sound is cleaner and clearer, reducing distortion.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X395 is not for sale at the moment, although everything indicates that it will see the light soon at a still unknown price. We will update the news as soon as we have new information, availability and prices.
