The rumors were right. Just a few weeks before the Samsung Galaxy S20 in its three variants becomes a reality, the company has made the launch of its first 5G tablet official in Spain. It is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G , a tablet that inherits the hardware of the Galaxy Tab S6 that we analyzed a few months ago and that presents 5G connectivity as the only tangible novelty. The rest of the characteristics are, a priori, identical.

Same features as its namesake with the 5G novelty
So is. The 5G version of the Galaxy Tab S6 arrives with the same specifications and the same design as its younger sister. Far from doing a facelift, the company has decided to integrate the same processor: the Snapdragon 855 signed by Qualcomm . The novelty is found precisely in the 5G chip, a chip that if we pay attention to its technical characteristics should have NSA and SA connectivity to make the connection compatible with the latest version of 5G.
If we talk about the available memory configuration, Samsung is again betting on the 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 and 256 GB of storage . Also for the same battery: 7,040 mAh with fast charge through the USB type C connection. The latter is compatible with Samsung Dex, Samsung's function to turn the tablet interface into a computer.
Of course, we have the possibility of expanding the memory through micro SD cards up to 1 TB capacity. Compatible with nano SIM cards, the device uses a 10.5-inch panel with Super AMOLED technology and WQXGA resolution along with an optical fingerprint sensor located under the matrix.
This is accompanied by two 13 and 5 megapixel cameras on the back and an 8 camera on the front. The 5 megapixel one, by the way, has a 123º wide angle lens.
Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G
Although the tablet has not been confirmed in Spain, it is known that it will soon arrive in Europe due to the deployment of the aforementioned communication technology. It will do so at a price that starts at 800 euros in its most economical version. It remains to be seen if Samsung applies the 1: 1 pricing policy to set this same price in Spain. Otherwise, it could arrive for a price around 700 euros.
