Hisense continues to grow and surprise in the television market. The Chinese manufacturer has presented its new proposals for this year at CES 2019. They continue to bet on ULED technology and now debut with Android TV and Roku TV as operating systems . The next Hisense Smart TVs with 4K resolution will thus seek to compete with QLED and OLED panels from Samsung, LG and other manufacturers.
According to a recent study, Hisense has been the fastest growing manufacturer of the top 6 in the United States . It recently introduced the Hisense Dual Color Laser TV, a new concept of "television" that surprised the industry. Specifically, it is an ultra-short-throw projector with a blue and red laser light source that allows activating a wide range of color whose palette is wider and more precise. Thus, a 100-inch image is achieved, with 4K resolution and HDR in a few centimeters. But in addition to this device, aimed at a more premium market, the company will continue to improve its range of televisions.
Hisense U9F and H9F
At the top of the ULED range we have the new Hisense U9F , successor to the Hisense U9A that we had the opportunity to test. This new model uses Quantum Dot technology and reaches a maximum brightness of 2,200 nits . It has more than 1,000 local dimming zones for better contrast and now supports Dolby Vision HDR .
ULED technology incorporates a Hi-View chip and a series of AI-based image quality algorithms. It also improves the viewing experience with automatic recognition of how to improve color, contrast, resolution, and brightness. Its borderless design also stands out, giving all the prominence to the panel.
One notch below we will have the Hisense H9F, a 4K ULED TV with more than 1,000 nits of brightness . This model also has Quantum Dot and Wide Color Gamut technology , thus achieving more realistic colors.
In addition, it is equipped with DBX-TV studio sound . The H9F is the addition of Android TV to Hisense televisions, thus offering a more complete operating system to users. Thanks to Android, the new Hisense televisions will have access to applications, games and movies from Google Play.
Hisense H8F and R8
Along with top-of-the-range models, Hisense has introduced a whole new family of ULED TVs. The Hisense H8F series incorporates a very bright display, ULED technology and support for the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa . At the moment we do not have more data on this model.
We do have some more information about the new Hisense R8, the first television to combine ULED technology with the experience of the Roku TV system . In addition, this model also features Dolby Vision HDR and Array Local Dimming lighting system.
Offers 700 nit brightness and Dolby Atmos audio . But the great novelty of this model is that it incorporates Roku OS, a well-known system in the United States. It has more than 500,000 movies and television series available through thousands of free and pay channels. The Roku Channel offers everything from movie classics to live news to sports and entertainment. All this without the need for monthly subscriptions. Of course, all this is oriented to the North American market, since in Spain we do not have access to the Roku platform.

The models discussed make up the highest range of Hisense TVs for 2019. But they are not the only ones. The Roku R6 and R7 models will also arrive , as well as the H5 and H65 Android models .
