Therefore, today we wanted to make a curious list of vehicles. In it we will know the 10 fastest cars in the world .

We have selected production cars . In other words, cars that "any" user could buy. We have left out racing cars, as it would not make much sense to put them on this list. It has a carbon body designed to achieve the best aerodynamics on the market. In addition, the car weighs only 1,338 kilograms. What is achieved with this set is an acceleration from 0 to 300 km / h in 10 seconds . Brutal!

Only 24 units of the Hennessey Venom F5 have been manufactured , with a price of 1.4 million euros per unit.

SSC Tuatara

Another model specially designed to become the fastest car in the world. The latest version of the SSC Tuatara reaches a top speed close to 480 mh / h .

To achieve this, it has a 5.9-liter V8 biturbo engine , capable of offering 8,800 rpm and up to 1,775 horsepower. Of course, the bodywork is carbon fiber, like the chassis, which achieves a weight of only 1,250 kilos.

Only 100 units of the new SSC Tuatara will be made, the price of which has not been revealed yet. However, it is almost certain that it will be well over a million euros.

Koenigsegg Agera RS

In the third place of fastest cars in the world we have the  Koenigsegg Agera RS . The Agera RS became the fastest production car in the world last year, reaching a speed of 447 km / h . Although it has already been surpassed, this brand allows it to continue to be among the 3 fastest cars.

To achieve this, it has a 5.0 V8 biturbo engine of 1,376 horses . The car weighs just 1,395 kg thanks to an ultra light chassis.

Only 25 units of the Koenigsegg Agera RS were manufactured , which were sold with a price of more than one million euros.

Hennessey Venom GT

Another Hennessey model. The Venom GT reaches a top speed of 434 km / h . To achieve this, it has a  7.0-liter V8 engine with 1,244 hp . In addition, it uses a modified Lotus Elise chassis.

Production of the Hennessey Venom GT is limited to 10 vehicles per year . Its price is around 1,300,000 euros .

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Rimac Concept Two

Rimac Automobili is a Croatian car manufacturer that caught the world's attention in 2016 by introducing the Rimac Concept One, a very powerful electric supercar. Well, this first model already has a successor, the Rimac Concept Two .

This new model has four electric motors that produce a combined power of no less than 1,914 horsepower . Its maximum speed is 415 km / h and it is capable of going from 0 to 100 in 1.85 seconds .

According to Rimac, the car will come with a 120 kWh battery that will give it a range of about 650 km .

However, we will still have to wait to see if this is fulfilled, since the Rimac Concept Two will not be available until 2020 . Apparently, Rimac only plans to manufacture 150 units , with a price that will exceed one million euros.

SSC Ultimate Aero

In eighth position we have the SSC Ultimate Aero , a somewhat older car but that manages to reach 411 km / h . To do this, it uses a  6.3-liter V8 engine with 1,287 hp of power.

A curious fact about the SSC Ultimate Aero is that it does not have any type of electronic driving aid, which makes it a car only recommended for great experts behind the wheel. Currently it is no longer produced, but at the time it sold for $ 700,000 , about 615,000 euros.

Aston Martin Valkyrie

To achieve this, a 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 900 horsepower has been used  . But this engine is only one part of a hybrid powertrain created by Aston Martin. According to the manufacturer, the total power of the vehicle will be 1,130 hp .

In addition, according to company sources, the Tesla Roadster will include a 200kWh battery . That is, twice the battery that the Tesla Model X includes with greater autonomy.

The Tesla Roadster, although it can already be reserved, will not start production until 2020 . In addition, since Tesla they have launched a somewhat strange sales policy. The first 1,000 Tesla Roadsters to be manufactured will be known as Founders Series and will cost 215,000 euros in Spain  . Customers who want this model will have to pay the full amount in the reservation and wait for manufacturing to begin. The next Tesla Roadster to be manufactured will have a price of 172,000 euros, and to enter the waiting list it is necessary to pay 43,000 euros.
