Philips LED 6503, 43-, 50-, 55- and 65-inch 4K HDR + TVs

In the recent event held in Amsterdam Philips has presented its renewed line of televisions. From the large and exclusive OLEDs, to more compact and affordable models, they all incorporate some new features. The 6503 series is the most basic of the large screens to receive some of these novelties. These televisions are available in screens of 43, 50, 55 and up to 65 inches. Prices are yet to be determined although availability will be soon.

4K resolution and HDR Plus

All televisions in the new Philips 6503 series feature 4K UHD resolution panels . In other words, more than eight million pixels: 3840 x 2160, in a 16: 9 screen format, with minimal thickness. The graphics engine has Pixel Precise technology to convert any received signal to that 4K resolution. This way we can enjoy sharp moving images, with good contrast, and the resolution will not disappoint us with inferior sources.

HDR Plus high dynamic range (not to be confused with superior HDR10 +) is a new standard. Define domestic features to improve contrast and colors. Thanks to this feature, the Philips 6503 can offer realistic images . As close as possible to the original producer's intention. The result is brighter high-shine areas, higher contrast, and more detail.

Micro Dimming and Saphi System

Another technology that aims to optimize the contrast of the screen is Micro Dimming Pro. Depending on the ambient light conditions where the television is located, a software analyzes 6,400 areas of the image. Adjust brightness and contrast levels on the fly so that the perceived image is optimal both day and night.

A modern television is at heart a computer: the Philips 6503 use a Quad Core processor. Image processing, and access to applications, is faster thanks to it. The simplified menu system and aids are now the Saphi Smart TV system. Just press the start button to access the menu system, and intuitively find what we are looking for. It has applications for Netflix, YouTube ... etcetera.

Elegant

The slim glossy black metal frame and discreet feet turn Philips 6503s in all versions into stylish televisions. They also feature the brand's already popular system, Ambilight, with three-sided controlled lighting . Thanks to this aesthetics and light features, these televisions will fit into any modern or traditional home environment.

The TV offers up to 20W of music power . Its internal sound system decodes all formats, including DTS-HD. Philips Sound Processing allows you to perceive dialogue clearly, and special effects spectacularly.
