Hotmail Outlook mail not working, login problems

Outlook, Microsoft's email service formerly called Hotmail, is not working properly. Users have reported login failures with a 401 error. The reports began early this morning in Spain. But yesterday the service did not work in other parts of the world either. In Spain, 57 percent of users who have reported the fall through the Downdetector.es portal affirm that they have login problems. That is, at the login. 35 percent with the connection and 6 percent do not allow messages to be sent.

The failure affects both the website and the application for mobile devices. Microsoft has already ruled on the matter through the service's twitter account. Users ask why they could not enter the platform and about the appearance of error 401. The Outlook account says that it is aware of the problems and is looking for a solution to apply it as soon as possible. Here is a tweet with the message.

Hi, Dolly! Thank you for raising this to us. We're aware of the issue and working for a resolution. For now, we suggest that you check the Service Status for any updates: //t.co/hThJKQRN9p.

Microsoft also reports on the status page of its services that otulook.com is not working properly. The start time of this failure happened on Thursday 18. The company ensures that this problem has reached saturation of 95 percent of its servers , so the platform may take a while to return to normal.

If you want to know the status of Outlook or Hotmail you can look at it from here. In addition, Microsoft is likely to update the status through its social networks. If the service does not work for you, you can report it in Downdetector and comment on what is failing. Other Microsoft services, such as OneDrive among others, work correctly and without any type of failure or crash.
