Most of the latest generation mobiles that run on Android came to the market equipped with the 4.4 KitKat edition , a version that is now being replaced by Android 5.0 Lollipop , albeit at forced marches. At the moment we hardly find devices that have been presented in partnership with the latest version of Google's operating system . In fact, according to the latest reports, only 1.6% of terminals work through Lollipop . It will be necessary to wait for the Mobile World Congress 2015 in March to see the first smartphones equipped as standard with Lollipop. However, and given that the updates have been launched, we already have devices that work with Lollipop . In this way, even if you buy them right now, you should know that they will be updated immediately or in the next days or weeks.
Samsung Galaxy S5
It is one of the best equipped smartphones on the market, so it was a priority for Samsung . So much so that the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been one of the first phones of the firm to be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop , Spain being a pioneer country for this launch. The team carries with it all the improvements of Lollipop and a completely renewed TouchWiz interface . But this is not the only Samsung mobile that is being updated. The rollout of the update has also started for owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4in some countries, so a landing of this data package is expected in the equipment located in Spain .
HTC One M8
Users of the HTC One M8 have already started receiving the update to Android 5.0 Lolllipop . The same path has been followed by the HTC One M7 , the former flagship of the Taiwanese company HTC . The firm promised that the update would go live within 90 days after it was submitted. This has not been exactly the case, but at this point we can say that these first swords in the HTC catalog are already ready to work through Lollipop .
The Korean firm LG was one of the first to update to its current flagship. In fact, by now the LG G3 already works through Android 5.0 Lollipop and it does so with full guarantees. There is still no data on when the rest of the equipment (here we include the LG G2 ) will be updated to Lollipop , but the truth is that the arrival of the data package should not be too late.
Motorola Moto X
He is a standard bearer, but the truth is that the Motorola company has worked hard to launch the Lollipop update on all its smartphones . The first has been the first and second generation Motorola Moto X. The second, another great device named Motorola Moto G . It is quite possible, however, that the update has only reached free terminals and that those associated with an operator still have to wait a bit. In the last hours we have also learned that the Motorola Moto E will soon receive Android 5.0 Lollipop . This is expected to occur at the end of this February.
And we end with one of the most recently presented phones in the Google catalog . We refer to the Nexus 6 , a device that came standard with Android 5.0 Lollipop and that brought the update to the rest of the equipment. In fact, the Nexus are always usually the first to receive each new update that Google presents . In this case, part of the equipment already works through Android 5.0.1 Lollipop , while other models already enjoy Android 5.0.2 Lollipop . Unfortunately, the first update to Lollipop did not bring good news for users. Most terminal ownersNexus had to face serious connectivity and autonomy problems after trying Lollipop honeys .
