The Korean company would plan to unveil this new smartphone shortly, so we already have some images of the model and part of its technical characteristics on the table. At the time it surprised us with a design very similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S3 (we must not lose sight of the fact that the first Samsung Galaxy S Duos was presented in 2012), so now it is not surprising that on the outside it looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 . The fact is that the Hungarian media Tech2 has published the first photos of this new generation of the device equipped with a double slot to house SIM cards . But what other technical characteristics does this smartphone present ?
It seems that the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 will be very similar to the original device. For now, we know that it could have a 4-inch screen and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It has a built-in processor with dual-core architecture that improves on the previous edition (whose processor was single-core) and has the ability to operate at a 1.2 GHz clock frequency . There is no specific data on the RAM memory of the equipment, but taking into account that the Samsung Galaxy S Duos had 512 MB , it is very likely that Samsung decides to give this smartphone the amount of 1 GB, essential to gain in performance and operability. There is still nothing written about its availability. On Twitter it has already been reported that the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 could see the light of day in the coming days in India, but we still have no evidence that the launch can take place soon in Europe . However, taking into account that at the time the original device was already marketed, it is very likely that this second edition will also be put on sale in our country. Its price should be around 200 euros in the free market , but we will have to wait to know the official data that Samsung provides us .
