Stranger Things, the Netflix series, has become a true mass phenomenon. A few weeks ago, Spotify released a special playlist . It's called Stranger Things and contains up to 58 hits from the 80s, the decade in which the series is set. 3 hours and 45 minutes of music.
There are, for example, great songs like Thriller , the Michael Jackson anthem; Every Breath You Take , by The Police; Should I Stay or Should I Go , by The Clash or Girls on Film , by Duran Duran. But this is not all. While the fans of this series - and of this era - reproduce the songs, they can also listen to the dialogue of some characters , such as Mike, Lucas, Dustin or Will.
Now, the thing does not end here. Did you know that Spotify has a hidden Stranger Things Mode? It is an Easter Egg - a hidden surprise - that will delight fans of this series. If you want to know what it is exactly and how to activate it, we will tell you below.

It's really just an aesthetic effect. When you activate it and play your songs, it will activate instantly. A bluish nebula will appear and a flashlight will mysteriously illuminate the screen. You will see it like this both on your computer and on your mobile . This effect will disappear as soon as you move the mouse or touch the mobile screen, so you can return to the normal player.
To activate it, all you have to do is the following:
1. Open Spotify (it doesn't matter if you do it through the application or through the desktop version). Go to the Settings section.
2. Here you have to see directly a mode called Stranger Things . Flip the switch to activate it. You do not have to do anything else.
If you haven't subscribed yet, you will also have to follow the playlist. In this case, simply follow the link that will take you to the Stranger Things list made by Spotify. Simply click on the Save button , located at the bottom of the title. As soon as it starts playing, you will start to enjoy the effects.
