The special Christmas gala of Operación Triunfo has just taken place. The program that marked a before and after on Spanish TV, has returned, with a staff of renewed teachers (among them, Guille Mikyway from La Casa Azul or the duo of directors known as the Javis. In total, 8 galas (without count the special gala # 0) and a Christmas special today, with a new batch of triumphs that are delighting a new batch of young people. A new change in our society, sponsored by the tremendous rise of the networks social, makes this edition of OT the most interactive to date.
18 contestants in total, of which, to date, only half can opt for the grand prize of this edition: representing our country in the Eurovision television and musical contest, which this year will be held in the neighboring country, Portugal. Among the favorites to win this edition of OT 2017 is the sentimental couple (trained in the academy) formed by Amaia and Alfred (together they delivered the most emotional moment to date, the piano interpretation of City Of Stars from the film La La Land) and Aitana, with her fresh spontaneity and youth.

Gala # 0
At this gala, the jury had to decide which contestants finally chose to stay at the Academy. After seeing all the performances, they will decide which ones go on the catwalk and which ones have to wait, even a little longer. In each gala, the jury will keep 4 contestants in suspense: the cloister will save one of them, the companions will save another and, between the two that remain, and over a week, the spectators, with their votes, will save one of the two. The one that remains will be eliminated.

Gala # 3
At this gala, Amaia and Alfred and their moving interpretation of the City Of Stars from the soundtrack of the film La La Land shone with their own light. Gala # 4
In this gala, Alfred played the winner of Eurovision 2017 'Amar Pelos Dois', by the Portuguese Salvador Sobral. In addition, Agoney and Nerea sang 'Symphony', by the peculiar symphonic electronic group Clean Bandit, together with the Swede Zara Larsson. On this occasion, the entire contestants performed the success of La Casa Azul 'The sexual revolution'. Raoul performed a song by a female artist, Lady Gaga, specifically 'A Million Reasons'. Agoney performed a song from the Eurovision Conchita Wurst and the omnipresent Ed Sheeran made an appearance in the voice of Amaia and Roi with her 'Shape of You'.
