Sony is one of the first mobile manufacturers to make a move. The Japanese manufacturer has presented three new terminals. To the much rumored Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, the more modest Sony Xperia L2 is added . With a design very similar to that of other terminals of the company, the new model arrives with a modest hardware but enough for normal use. The Xperia L2 includes a quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 13-megapixel main camera.
To this we must add a 5.5-inch screen, fingerprint reader and Android 7.1.1. All in a design with large frames that Sony apparently refuses to give up. The Sony Xperia L2 will be available in three colors: black, gold and pink . And although its price has not been revealed, it will not take long to know it, since its launch is scheduled for this month.

Classic design and modest interior
Although last year its terminals received several criticisms for their design, it seems that Sony is still in its thirteen . The company may want to debut a new frameless design only on high-end terminals. Or maybe you're looking to stay true to your style and not disappoint buyers who like "made in Sony" design.
Whatever the reason, the reality is that the Sony Xperia L2 maintains the huge bezels at the front. The terminal has a 5.5-inch screen and HD 720p resolution . Taking into account that its screen is large, the measurements of the terminal amount to 150 x 78 x 9.8 millimeters. To give you an idea, the Samsung Galaxy S8, with a 5.8-inch screen, has dimensions of 148.9 x 68.1 x 8 millimeters.
As for the rest of the design, we have a back with rounded edges at the ends that facilitate grip. However, the shape of the terminal is still square, with pointed edges . The back cover is completely smooth and both the camera and the fingerprint reader are very well integrated. On the other hand, although we cannot assure you, the back cover looks metallic.
Inside the Sony Xperia L2 we have a Mediatek MT6737T processor . This is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage . This can be expanded using a microSDXC card up to 256GB.
The photographic section is handled by a 13 megapixel main camera with f / 2.0 aperture . Although it is a modest camera, it offers an ISO 3200 and a zoom x3. On the front it incorporates an 8 megapixel sensor with f / 2.4 aperture . It also has a 120-degree wide-angle lens, which will allow us to take group selfies.
Topping off the set we have a 3,300 mAh battery with Qnovo adaptive charging . There is no lack of the usual Stamina mode of the Sony terminals and a USB Type-C connector for charging.
Price and availability
Sony has not revealed the price of the Sony Xperia L2, but we will not have to wait long to know it. According to the manufacturer, the new models will hit the market this month .
