LG G4 Stylus

LG has decided to take advantage of the pull of its flagship LG G4 with two new variants that will be one step below the specifications of this equipment. These are the LG G4 Stylus and LG G4c models. The first of them is a phablet that bets on a 5.7-inch format with HD resolution and that will have the addition of a stylus in the style of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. In addition, in its guts we will find a quad-core processor, 8 GB of internal memory or a 13 megapixel rear camera. All this with an elegant design in two tones and with a 3,000 milliamp battery. At the moment we do not have official data on its departure date and price but it should reach the market in the next few weeks. For now, we tell you all its technical details in a thorough analysis.

Design and display

It's not as glamorous as the LG G4 , but it fights back. The LG G4 Stylus looks elegant with a metallic-looking casing available in two shades: one in titanium and the other in white. In both cases, a horizontal brushed pattern is used that enhances the premium point of this terminal. As for its dimensions, they are placed at 154.3 x 79.2 x 9.6 millimeters. Although it is not a particularly thin device, we do have to highlight its very competitive weight of 163 grams, at the level of other star devices such as the Galaxy Note 4. And of course, we could not stop mentioning here the inclusion of a stylus ,an addition that can give us a lot of play when using the phone.

As for the screen, LG has chosen to use a 5.7-inch IPS panel with HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. This resolution yields a density of 258 dots per inch and it can be a bit short when we watch movies and videos on the Android platform . In fact, it is quite far from the WQHD resolution that we find in the LG G4 . The use of IPS technology will allow us to achieve good viewing angles of up to 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically.

Photographic camera

In the photographic section there may be some confusion, since the company has announced two different resolutions for its rear camera. However, it is to be expected that the 4G / LTE version of this phone with a 13 megapixel camera, autofocus and LED flash will arrive in Spain (the 3G version is satisfied with an 8 megapixel camera). Without being one of the most powerful on the market, this lens should help us take good pictures on a daily basis. In addition, everything indicates that it will be completed with the possibility of recording video in high resolution Full HD. A sufficient set to run simple apps and games on the Android platform, although quite limited if we want to make use of all the possibilities offered by a model with a 5.7-inch large screen , which invites more intensive use than a compact mobile . The operating system with which this equipment arrives is Android 5.0 Lollipop, the latest version of this popular Google platform. In the field of connections we have doubts, but everything indicates that the version of this model that arrives in Spain will be compatible with high-speed 4G networks of up to 150 Mbps . This type of network has become a reality very quickly in our borders thanks to the efforts made by the main operators in recent years. As is normal, we can also connect to the Internet through its WiFi connection and synchronize this model with devices such as smart bracelets or watches through its low voltage Bluetooth 4.1 connection . And precisely one of the key points to know the scope that this terminal may have is its price, since the specifications fall a lot compared to the LG G4 . However, if a competitive cost is achieved, it could be a perfect alternative to enjoy a good-sized phablet.
