How to request your FNMT certificate

The certificate is requested through the Internet, although later you will have to go to a Registry Office to prove your identity . After clicking, a new window will appear to inform you that the process has been completed correctly. It will also inform you that you will receive the instructions to continue in your email.

How to install the certificate in Chrome
After downloading the certificate, you can install it in your browser to start using it. We show you the process in Chrome , although it can be done in all browsers, or at least in the most used ones like Firefox and Edge.
To do this, the first thing is to go to the Chrome settings menu .
We look for the option to " Manage certificates" .
A new window will open. We enter the " Personal " tab and click on " Import "
We select the file that we have previously downloaded and click on " Next "
We introduce the certificate password and click on "Next"
We click on " Finish "
And we already have the certificate installed and ready to use it . The next time we need to identify ourselves we can select the option to use a digital certificate, a window like the one below will appear to select it.
