All applications for iPhone and iPod Touch (erotic or not) go through the company's careful filters before being available for download . Apple's style guide says that explicit sex, nudity, not even swimsuits are allowed in the apps for all audiences . If any app has content of this type, it immediately goes on to display the “˜adults only” ™ tag. If your creator wants to avoid this tag, they will need to make the necessary changes (or snip).
Similarly, any user who is offended by any specific content can report it to Apple . If the company considers the claim to be correct, it will take the content reported and notify its creator . This censorship has gone to extremes, sometimes absurd, such as the censorship of Fitness applications because its female protagonist comes out in a swimsuit .
Until now, applications with adult content were conveniently marked , although to access them it was enough to declare to be of legal age .
