It is one more way to free up space on our hard drives and to be able to access files from any computer in a few seconds.
The first thing that catches the attention of Lolabits is its corporate image , all with a casual and very Spanish touch . This new cloud storage service offers the basic functions of any other similar system, but adorns it with characteristics of a social network. In order to start using Lolabits, you have to complete the registration , which is also very quick and easy since it only asks for an email address, a password and the username. Once this small form has been filled in, a confirmation email is sentto the address that we have provided, although we can also choose another, in which you have to click a link to activate the account. After completing these steps, you can start uploading files to this “cloud” with a social network soul to simply store them or also share them with other users.
By default, our space has three predefined folders which are Photos, Documents and Private . Each of the folders can be edited to modify its privacy, if it will contain adult material, if other users can add files or add a description of its content. Logically it is also possible to create new folders, and if we mark them as private we can protect them with a password, so we only share what we want . In the profile there is space to add personal information if we wish. Lolabits works as a storage service but also as a database to search for content . The search engine at the top allows us to find files that have not been marked as private by their owners using keywords and also users .
