Today the Chinese manufacturer has announced the availability in Spain of the new generations of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga . Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon
The Lenovo ThinkPad range has been designed with the professional sector in mind. However, within this range we can find very different series. The X1 series is the one that offers the most avant-garde equipment with the best technology.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon reaches the 8th generation . It is a computer designed for executives who love technology and who need great mobility. And we are facing a computer with a thickness of only 14.9 millimeters and a weight of 1.09 kg . Despite its lightness, it is a resistant piece of equipment, which has been able to pass several military qualification tests.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is equipped with a 14-inch screen with FHD resolution . It offers a brightness of 400 nits and can count, in an option, with the Lenovo PrivacyGuard Touch AG system. We can also opt for a model with a 500 nit screen and UHD resolution.
Inside the new version of the ThinkPad we find processors up to 10th generation Intel Core i7 . These come accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage .
It also has a 51 Whr battery that, according to Lenovo, offers a range of up to 18 hours . It is also equipped with Rapid Charge technology , with a charger with a 65W USB Type C connector.
In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, two USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, and an audio port. It is also equipped with WiFi 6 connectivity , with Bluetooth 5.0 and even with NFC. All this together with the popular ThinkPad series keyboard, which now incorporates a new row of buttons with unified communications functions for instant access to VoIP.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is now available on the Lenovo website with a price starting at 1,550 euros . Of course, we can customize the configuration according to our needs.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga
In 2020, the 5th generation of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga , the convertible model, hits the market . It has a 360 degree hinge with which we can turn the laptop into a tablet. And, like the normal model, this is a thin and light team. It is only 15.2 millimeters thick and weighs 1.35 kg .
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga features a 14-inch touchscreen , with a base FHD resolution. You can also get a model with WQHD resolution and even one with UHD resolution and 500 nits of brightness.
Inside the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga we have practically the same technical set as in the normal model. That is, it has 10th generation Intel processors , up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD storage .
The battery is 51 Whr and offers autonomy, according to the manufacturer, of up to 18 hours . It also has Rapid Charge , which allows charging from 0% to 80% in one hour.
And when it comes to connectivity, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga offers 2 Thunderbolt ports , 2 USB 3.1 Type-A ports, HDMI output and an audio jack. It also has WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
In short, we are facing a convertible team that will offer a lot of versatility to its users but without penalizing the general performance.
