How are we doing geography this 2019/20 course? You may not be able to say perfectly right at the beginning, but we guarantee from now on that if you do your part, in June you can end up knowing yourself to the last capital of South America, North America and anywhere else you propose.
And we will do our part. Even as much as your geography teacher, who surely does not expect you to have a good number of maps of all kinds at hand to learn the countries , their capitals, as well as a large part of their physical peculiarities, among which we count rivers, seas, chains mountainous and so on.
If you want to learn geography in an easy and fast way, perhaps you should take a look at all the maps that we propose. They are world maps classified by their main categories, so it will be very easy to find just what you need. Shall we start with geography class? Ready, Set, Go!
Political world maps to download
Learning all the countries in the world is not an easy task at all. Most likely, you know those that are closest to you or those that, due to their magnitude and political influence, are more relevant. However, you will soon realize that there are countless territories and that each one has its particularities, history and changes, which have occurred over time, as a result of changes in the history of peoples, of the wars, colonizations and many other conflicts.
What we propose below is the download of a total of ten political maps from around the world. In these you will find a graphic summary of all the countries in the world , although if you want to study them in depth, the best thing to do is to get down to work on the study continent by continent (below you will find all kinds of specific maps for Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania).
At the moment, you can download ten world maps here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Physical world maps for download
An added difficulty that you will find when studying geography has to do, precisely, with physical or geological phenomena. That is, the seas, the oceans, the mountain ranges, the volcanoes, the rivers, and so on. All these phenomena are usually collected on physical maps and, taking into account the vast expanse of our planet Earth, it is clear that to learn them all you will have to study. And a lot.
Could you point out with your eyes closed the exact position of the Ural Mountains? Do you know where the Sahara Desert is located? How far does the Amazon extend? Do you have any idea where the Rocky Mountains are? To make it a little easier for you, we thought it would be interesting if you could download a collection of physical maps of the world, in which the different characteristics of the terrain are perfectly indicated and marked . You can download a total of ten below: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Mute world map images
Nothing better to put into practice your knowledge of physical and political geography than a silent map. On top of it you will have the opportunity to locate the different countries, territories and geographical particularities in your own way. In fact, you can print as many sheets as you want to, in this way, review your knowledge about the world. You will see how little by little you learn and soon you become an ace in geography. We propose a total of ten silent world maps to download: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Maps by continents
If you start to study world geography, you will realize that you have just entered a practically vast terrain. The world is so big and so complex that when it comes to kneeling, it is always better to do it in an orderly and logical way. We suggest you study the world maps by continents, since in this way it will be much easier for you to associate the different countries, capitals and geological phenomena. You will not make so much trouble and you can study everything in parts.
What we offer you below is a collection of maps of the five continents (Europe, Africa, America - South and North -, Asia and Oceania), both political, physical and also silent, with which it will be very easy to learn. You already know that it is best to use political and physical maps to study and then take advantage of the advantages of silent maps to gradually place countries, cities, rivers, seas or mountains black on white.
You can print these maps as many times as you consider necessary, so you can practice often. Surely as you enter the names, they remain etched in your head. But where do we start?

Maps of North, Central and South America to download
With the permission of Asia, this is the second largest continent on Earth. America is made up of North America and South America, so it is not surprising that it ends up forming such a vast expanse. From the Arctic Glacial Ocean, located to the north, it extends to the Diego Ramírez islands to the south and joins two oceans, the Atlantic and the Pacific, which in turn delimit its east and west.
In terms of surface area, we have to speak of 43,316,000 square kilometers of land, which represents 8.4% of the Earth's surface and 30.2% of the emerged land. This is where 12% of the world's people are , who at the same time congregate in large cities such as Mexico City, New York, Sao Paulo, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Lima, Bogotá and Santiago de Chile.
It should be noted, however, that due to the nature of the continent and its characteristics, the American continent is traditionally divided into three. World maps and games for children
For many, even adults, geography is a boring subject. But it doesn't have to. Did you know that there are really fun ways to learn geography? We can do it, young and old, through play. And although in stores you can find interesting game proposals to buy directly, you also have the option of looking for cutouts and crafts to do at home. It is a great way to learn geography together.
Along with this, we also wanted to find some maps that you can print and that are specifically designed for children, made with colors, beautiful letters and many drawings. This is also a great way to transmit the existence and coexistence of the different cultures in the world and to instill the value of respect for all of us who share Planet Earth.
Here you have the first world map for children, which includes the different continents in bright colors , linked letters and some drawings of the most characteristic animal species of each place. We have found a map with which you can invent any game and travel around the world.
Here's another fun world map, in which the main animals, both domestic and exotic, appear. This one has no drawings, but it is very colorful and presents differentiated continents. You can use it as a cut-out, so that children or adolescents have the option of configuring the puzzle of each of the continents, to put them together later on the same world map.
This map is very simple, but it includes the main continents and many pictures to make it more attractive to young children. It is perfect to introduce the first notions of geography of the world. It also includes countless animal species, all of them drawn with excellent taste .
If you need maps with more information, you can use any of the ones we have proposed. If you print and cut them carefully, you can even use them as puzzles and make them more than fulfill their didactic function.
