Everything indicates that next September, Samsung presented at the IFA in Berlin the fifth generation Galaxy Note . As happened last year, the device would not arrive alone, if not alongside a version with a curved screen, to follow in the wake of the first Edge (curved only on one side of its screen) and the Galaxy 6S Edge , presented last March in Barcelona . This new terminal, codenamed Samsung ZENZERO , has appeared on the HTML5test test website under the name Galaxy Note 5 Edge.
The device, governed by Android 5.1.1, would have achieved a score of 503, a figure that is not bad at all if we compare it with that of other devices. For example, with the Nexus 5, which achieves 515 using the same version of the platform. Unlike other performance tests, the HTML5 test, of course, does not test the potential of the hardware, but measures the degree of compatibility of the device's web browser with all the functionalities of this new web standard.
SamMobile also revealed some of the possible features that the phone would incorporate. The new Galaxy Note 5 Edge would mount a 5.4 or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen , which would curve on both sides. The processor could be an Exynos 7422 or an Exynos 7430, although there is also talk that the South Korean could once again trust Qualcomm and choose its Snapdragon 808 SoC , the same one that incorporates the LG G4. There is no data on the RAM, but there is on the internal storage capacity, which seems to come with 16GB, although we assume that it would be expandable through the use of MicroSD memory cards.
For its part, the new Galaxy Note 5 Edge would incorporate a main camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and a secondary camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. In addition, it would include the classic S Pen, thanks to which it will be easier for us to write on the phablet screen. At the moment, there is no data on the capabilities of its curved screen, although we assume, as we have seen in the other two models, that it will serve to perform various functions without having to enter the main screen. In this way, we can know messages and calls, as well as certain information, such as the time, the time or the calendar.
As we say, this new phone would be accompanied by the Galaxy Note 5, the new member of Samsung's Note family . We also have some information about him. The first data indicates that it would be available with a QHD or 4k screen . In fact, some sources maintain that it would come in two different versions for the user to choose one resolution or another (although this must be taken with great caution at the moment). The processor would be an Exynos 7422 or Exynos 7430 . There are many unknowns for now and no data is too clear. We assume that as September approaches we will learn more exact details.
