Comfortable dimensions and a good finish
The Lenovo Miix 630 can be completely detached from the keyboard via a hinge system and operate as a separate display. Thus, we will have a tablet for when we want more comfort, or a complete team to work in depth. The best thing is that when we want to use it only as a tablet, it has a support to be able to support it comfortably if we want to watch a movie or series. At the moment of wanting to use it with the keyboard, we will only have to adjust it to the screen to enjoy it. Its keys are large and give the feeling of being very comfortable. In addition, it should be noted that the keyboard can be backlit , something that always comes in handy to work in those places where there is not enough light.
At the design level, this new convertible is quite elegant. It arrives in black, with very good finishes and quite discreet dimensions . It is only 1.5 centimeters thick and 1.3 kilos in weight. On the other hand, it offers a 12.3-inch screen with WUXGA + resolution (1,920 x 1,280 pixels) protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass system. This will give it greater resistance to falls or shocks.
Digital pen with up to 1,024 pressure levels
One of the great additions of the Lenovo Miix 630 is that it includes a digital pen or Pen. It has up to 1,024 pressure levels, which means it has enough sensitivity to make precise strokes. Thanks to this accessory we can make annotations on the screen, write emails or draw pictures. All this as if we were writing with a pen on a sheet of paper.
Power and memory
If we dive inside the equipment, we will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, accompanied by 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM (to be chosen by the user). Also, the available internal storage capacity is 64GB, 128GB or 256GB. Any of them can be expanded by using microSD-type cards of up to 256 GB. In this way, the user can choose the configuration that best suits them and adapt the price to their interests. For the graphic section, the company has added an Adreno 540 card, very common in tablets or small laptops.
An autonomy for 20 hours
Although the company has not provided the amperage of the battery, it has commented that the Lenovo Miix 630 is prepared to support up to 20 hours of operation . We imagine that this figure will have a lot to do with the brightness levels and the settings that we have activated. However, it seems that this model can give a lot of war when watching videos, working with tools or using applications.
All multimedia processes and others are managed under the umbrella of Windows 10, the latest version of Microsoft's platform. This system also provides the team with various functions that came standard in this version. We can mention among them the assistant Cortana or the new Microsoft Edge browser.
LTE connectivity
The Lenovo Miix 630 boasts a wide array of connectivity options. The main thing is that it has an LTE connection, so you can enjoy greater freedom to have data anywhere. But it also comes with a USB-C port, WiFi or SD card slot.
Regarding the availability of the Lenovo Miix 630, it is possible that the equipment will go on sale from the second quarter of this year. Its price could be around 800 euros, although it is an approximate figure. The company will have to specify it better as soon as the equipment goes on sale in the Spanish market.
