How to create a new Hotmail email in 2020
As surprising as it may sound, Microsoft still makes it possible to create email addresses under the hotmail.com domain.
Today the company allows you to create three types of domain: outlook.es , outlook.com and hotmail.com . To create an account with any of the domains that we have just mentioned, we will only have to go to the Outlook page through this link.
Finally, we will select one of the available Microsoft domains after entering an email address along with a valid password.
I can't sign in with Hotmail in Outlook, what can I do?
As we have mentioned previously, Microsoft permanently suspends all those accounts that have not been accessed in the time estimated by the company . The conditions set by those of Redmond are as follows:
- All Microsoft accounts that have not been accessed for a year or more or within the first ten days after the creation of an email address will become permanently inactive.
- Deactivating an email address implies the deletion of all messages, folders, contacts and emails without the option of recovery.
Can I recover a Hotmail account if I have forgotten the password?
If the problem with accessing Hotmail is due to not remembering the password, it is most likely that we can recover the account as long as we follow the steps that we will describe below.
The first recovery method that is proposed to us after clicking on Forgot your password? It is based on entering the numerical code that will be sent to us via SMS to the telephone number that we have previously indicated. In case we have not registered any number, the next method is to use a secondary email address .
After indicating to the assistant the email address where we want to receive the security code, Microsoft will send us an email with the code in question along with a recovery link. Within this we will have to answer a series of security questions and personal data to avoid unusual accesses.
Is recovering a password without the secret question possible?
The truth is that no . If we do not get the answer previously registered, Hotmail and Outlook will veto our access until we find the correct answer. Another option is to contact Microsoft's customer service directly, which we will discuss in subsequent sections.
I can't remember my Hotmail email, how can I get it back?
If we do not have the email address that we want to retrieve, the first step to obtain the information will be to click on Login Options within the Outlook login screen and then on I forgot my username .
The next step will be to indicate an email address that we have previously registered with our name or a phone number that we have stored in any of the Microsoft services . If we do not comply with either of these two conditions, we will not be able to recover the username.
The process from this point on is the same as that indicated in previous sections: a link will be sent to us along with a security code that we will have to set later in the Outlook recovery form.
