Power
Inside, the Acer Nitro 5 offer us two main configurations. One, with a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card . The other, a seventh-generation AMD A-Series processor and an AMD Radeon RX550 graphics. In either case, it is a high-level team.
The RAM can be increased to a maximum of 32 GB. On the other hand, the hard disk that is offered is of the PCIe SSD type, with a maximum of 512 GB . Optionally, you can add an HDD with a capacity of up to 2 TB. With that combination, installing large games will no longer be a problem. In terms of software, the operating system that is installed is Windows 10.
Ventilation
When it comes to playing intensively, the heating of the device is one of the most recurrent problems. That's why Acer Nitro 5 notebooks include 2 fans with AcerBoost technology . Thanks to this technology we can choose the ventilation speed, as well as adapt the cooling to our use needs. With these options, we will always have our laptop fresh and ready to play.
Ports and connectivity
To play online without interruptions, it is vital to have a team that responds with a fast and effective connection. Therefore, the Acer Nitro 5 models include two MIMO antennas to guarantee the fastest possible 802.11ac WiFI connection . If we want even more speed, we can use the Gigabit Ethernet port to receive 100% of the signal.
As for ports, in this family of computers we will always find a wide variety of USB ports. We will have one of type C, another USB 3.0 and two more of type 2.0. If we also want to connect our Acer Nitro 5 to a separate television to view our games in large size, we can do so thanks to the HDMI port .
Availability and price
The Acer Nitro 5 family will arrive in our country in August. The basic price is 1,100 euros, and from there it will depend on the configuration we choose . In any case, it is a high level device for casual gamers who want to raise a level of quality in their equipment.
