Unexpectedly and without prior notice, Samsung has launched a new mid-range phone this morning. We refer to the Samsung Galaxy A70 , a terminal that completes the series of Galaxy A smartphones that until now consisted of the Galaxy A10, the Galaxy A20, the Galaxy A30 and the Galaxy A50. It does so with a set of features superior to those of the terminals just mentioned. Triple camera, 4,500 mAh battery, super fast charging at 25 W ... Will it be enough to compete with the rest of the mid-range phones of 2019? We see it below.

Screen with fingerprint sensor and '3D' design
It seems that Samsung has decided to put all the meat on the grill with the Samsung Galaxy A70. The terminal, far from being a mid-range, has specifications more typical of the high-end. An example of this is its screen, which consists of a panel with Super AMOLED technology (the same as the Galaxy S10), Full HD resolution and a rare ratio in phones; specifically 20: 9 .
Along with this, Samsung has included a fingerprint sensor that in the absence of official confirmation from the company, everything indicates that it will be an optical sensor , that is, that it works in the company of the light from the screen.
As far as design is concerned, we find few novelties compared to the rest of the Galaxy A series phones of 2019. The only difference is in the material of its back cover, with a coating called 3D Glasstic whose manufacture is composed of made of plastic with a curved glass finish . The rest of the aspects are identical to those of the rest of the terminals: a drop-shaped notch and a very reduced lower frame.
Hardware not yet confirmed but pointing ways
Surprisingly enough, Samsung has yet to confirm the processor model of the Samsung Galaxy A70 . The only thing we know at the moment is that it will integrate an eight-core processor based on a two-core architecture at 2.0 GHz frequency and six cores at 1.7 GHz . Our predictions suggest that it is a last-batch Exynos processor, although we will have to wait for the company to confirm it.
For the rest, we find 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable through micro SD cards up to 512 GB. It should be noted the capacity of its battery, which starts at 4,500 mAh with a fast charging technology of 25 W, one of the fastest implemented by Samsung to date.
Triple camera to conquer them all
If there is something that makes the Galaxy A70 different from the rest of the A series phones, it is the photographic section.
Three cameras with RGB, wide-angle and telephoto lenses of 32, 8 and 5 megapixels, focal aperture f / 1.7, f / 2.2 and f / 2.2 and 123º of angle in the wide-angle sensor is what we find in the model presented by the South Korean company.
The front camera is not short either, as it consists of a 32 megapixel sensor with a focal aperture f / 2.0 . We will have to wait for the tests in hand to see how its four cameras behave, although everything indicates that we will find ourselves before one of the best exponents in photography of the mid-range.
Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A70 in Spain
As with the processor, Samsung has not given any details about the price and the date of availability of the Samsung Galaxy A70. Everything indicates that it will become available from the second half of April for a price that could start at 400 euros .
