Operación Triunfo 2018 has finally begun . He did it this Wednesday with the Gala 0, which was starred by both the new members of the contest and those belonging to OT 2017. Just a few days ago we showed you some ways to watch and follow the program live via mobile . One of the ways was to follow the program through the official website of RTVE to see the galas live and delayed. However, as is usual on the websites of Spanish television channels, the content is restricted to other people living in other countries. That is why today we will teach you to see Operación Triunfo outside of Spain .
See the galas of Operación Triunfo live from abroad
Next Wednesday is the next OT 2018 gala; specifically Gala 1. Unfortunately, as we mentioned at the beginning of the article, both the live and delayed galas cannot be seen outside of Spain , which is why we will need to resort to external programs. In this case, we will use the famous Tor browser , a modified version of Mozilla Firefox that allows us to hide our identity on the Internet to access websites restricted by location.
To do this, the first thing we will have to do is, how could it be otherwise, download it to our computer. On the official website you can download the versions for Windows, Linux and Mac. Once we have installed it, we will open it and a window similar to this one will appear:
As we surely live in a country where the use of Tor is not restricted, we will click on the Connect button . The browser will automatically start downloading the necessary proxies to hide our identity on the Internet. Once the program has finished configuring, we will have to make sure that we have an Internet connection. To do this, we can write any address in the top bar , as if it were a common browser.
Have we already made sure that we have an Internet connection? Then we can access the RTVE page without any problem, although yes, we must do it by directly pasting the link in the browser, since Google searches do not work as well as we would like with this version of Mozilla. UPGRADE
In the event that the method followed above does not work correctly, we must force Tor to use an IP from Spain. To do this, we must edit a Tor configuration file. Specifically, the torcc file , which is located in the Tor Browser \ Data \ Tor path (the Tor Browser folder will be found on the desktop or by putting Tor Browser in the Windows search box).
Once we have found the file in question, we will right click on it and open it with Windows Notepad . Finally, we will add the following lines to the end of the file:

After this, we will save the file and we can start the Tor browser, now, with the Operación Triunfo page fully available.
